Hellenbrand Aqua Systems Water Center

If I could rate this negative I would. We hired Hellenbrand to install a brand-new reverse osmosis (RO) system in January 2025, and it has been an absolute nightmare ever since. The system was installed incorrectly in connection with our dishwasher, leaving no proper drainage. Each time we ran the dishwasher, water flooded our kitchen. It took three return visits before Hellenbrand finally corrected their installation mistake. By then, the damage was already done. Even worse, Hellenbrand took no immediate action to dry out the water damage. Despite us following up many times, the damage sat untreated for over seven months. By the time remediation finally began in July 2025, we were dealing with significant black mold in addition to the water damage. Hellenbrand initially told us we would be getting a full kitchen replacement and even provided a dumpster to dispose of all our cabinets, countertops, backsplash, and flooring. Our entire kitchen was torn out — we’ve had no sink, no cabinets, no countertops, no flooring, and no running water since July. When it came time to move forward, Hellenbrand reversed course. After receiving the quote for new cabinets and countertops, they decided it was “too expensive” and pushed the entire matter to insurance instead of standing by their word. The result? We’ve been left in complete disarray, without a usable kitchen for months, caught between a contractor that won’t take accountability and an insurance process that has gone nowhere. The lack of action, follow-through, and responsibility has caused us enormous stress and hardship. If you are considering Hellenbrand, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Our experience has been nothing short of devastating. Photo attached is my "kitchen" as it sits today and since mid July with no clear path forward.

They were able to install the new softener with no issues. Install technician was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Will be using them in the future for all my service needs.
