I could not be more grateful for the kindness and compassion we received from Mike and the TMFH staff, concerning the death of my mother. From the dignity they gave mom when the came to gather her at the hospital, personally meeting us out for her clothes, to saying a private goodbye before her cremation and making sure her remains were with us before we went back to Florida...they took the upmost care and concern for us and her. Mike was exceptional and made one of the most difficult times of my life as easy a transition as possible. We are grateful as we travel with her back home this morning that she was handles with dignity and care. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.~In care of Charlotte Ann Landers~ The Bevan Family
The funeral director, Mike set up everything for us at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens. He is compassionate and caring. We had to come from out of state and he made sure my mom was transferred from NC back to our hometown of Cross Lanes. He took care of all the arrangements. He set up the services, found a minister for the sermon, ordered flowers, had music, ordered food for our family and allowed me to bring my little dog Lucy. In our time if great sadness, Mike helped us with everything and we really appreciated his help.
It was a refreshing site to have all the staff genuinely caring, compassionate and there when you needed them. They do not have the red headed woman who made our lives miserable a few years prior. I recommend the crew there now to anyone! Thank you with all you did to help me. Rosemarie has left a huge hole in my life
I have been trying to settle an estate for a deceased family member. I have had the most ridiculous time. "Mike" was to give me information, meet or just return my calls never happened, after dealing with him for nearly a year he still has not gotten back with me. The reasons for my issues are the deceased had several burial plots needed to be transferred to another family member and the final bill if any. I have asked for a manager or someone above him and was told he was the manager. The job he has should be one for someone kind, caring, understanding, trustworthy and attentive to all the needs in this heartwrenching time when they have to make the final decisions for their Mother,Father, Sister,Brother, Child or so on ,one of the hardest times in their lives these families have to go through! Do better TMMG! I pray for all the people who reach out needing help, advice or just a caring soul to guide them through their worst nightmare without being taken advantage of.
The people who work in the office are incredibly sweet and understanding. Also ran into someone who who worked there who went out of his way to lead us in his car to that very grave where I needed to be. Everyone there is amazing
