We took our beloved pomeranian here to be cremated after her death. I am very happy with the care they provided. They collected noise prints and paw prints, and were timely, professional, and compassionate. They also offer additional services including clay paws and various urn options. Thank you very much for your care and attention to detail. We are very grateful.
A few days ago, we viewed our very beloved Bronx and kissed him farewell as he went over the rainbow bridge & into the Spirit world. Later that day, we picked him up and brought his urn to rest at peacefully at home with us. The pet manager Evelyn and staff at Tacoma Mausoleum & Mortuary were very informative, kind and made the entire process stress free. We can't thank them enough for what they did for us and do for the general public. I would recommend them to anyone who is seeking or is unsure of what to do for their beloved animal for end of life services. Being able to view the process in it's entirety and pick Bronx up the same day in a beautiful urn is just what I wanted. Thank you Tacoma Mausoleum & Mortuary! We love you Bronx!!
I honestly wish I had never set foot in Tacoma Mausoleum. Dealing with them made an already horrible situation even worse. The building was filthy, smelled awful. The office was cluttered and they had paperwork scattered everywhere. I saw people's personal contact information just sitting out in the open. Nothing was clear. Getting straight answers felt like pulling teeth, and everyone gave off this cold, dismissive vibe like nobody wanted to be there What really did it for me was overhearing the funeral director Colin talking with staff. I heard him making fun of other customers behind their backs about how they had no money. Grieving people. That alone was disgusting and showed exactly what kind of operation this is when they think no one’s listening. He seemed like a nice guy but I guess that was just a act And then, somehow, it got worse. I also overheard 2 of the employees talking about some PILE OF HUMAN REMAINS??? under the building, talked about casually, like it was normal or no big deal. I honestly couldn't believe it, I wrote a email to the health department but no response Once you hear things like that, you can’t un-hear them If you’re considering this place, DON'T. I wish I'd never been here This place added stress and shock to a time that was already unbearable. They asked me to leave a Google review so that's what I'm doing. I would never recommend this god awful place to anyone for any amount of money
This place is disgustingly filthy. The buildings are filthy. They must have a rule against pressure washers and paint. The tiny office is filthy, smelly and packed with debris. It hasn't seen paint in years. I picked up my pets ashes today and the box was nice. That's all the positive I have. I hope I don't have nightmares tonight. What a creepshow. Seriously the most foul place I've been in years.
Yesterday we picked up our beloved Frankie. It was a very emotional day for us when we came into the lobby. a group of ladies were having a meeting in the office. One of the ladies greeted us really nicely. One of the ladies went and got our urn of our loved one. The two ladies that were in the office had no compassion or common sense to stop what they were doing. The lady on the computer was training the other lady how to work the system while we’re standing there morning our loved one . once the assistant came back with Frankie. They continue talking and didn’t even have the compassion to stop what they were doing. I thought that was very rude. I was gonna say something but at this point I was such a mess , they make this experience, not comforting. And my daughter was just another sale the got done. I hope they read this and realize that this was not just our pet. This was a beautiful boy with lots of love and life and he tragically just passed away in his sleep while we were on vacation so next time please have some compassion for the ones that are picking up their loved ones even though it’s our furry loved ones.
