Over the Rainbow is wonderful and I’m very grateful for them. One of our boys passed away suddenly the evening before Thanksgiving, I called everywhere, everything was closed and thankfully not only did they answer, they took us in during a holiday, were very kind and did an amazing job with the remains and keepsake. We decided that we will go to Over The Rainbow in the future once our elderly dog reaches the bridge as well. We are grateful for you thank you for the wonderful job and kindness.
A million out of 10 star rating! There are just no words to express our experience with over the rainbow and David. We lost our very loved family member bearded dragon Rick. You know those calls you just don't want to have to make cause it doesn't feel real yet. As soon as I was speaking with David I knew this is the place to have our Rick cremated and returned back to us. The moment we walked in the door we felt comfortable and important. David showed us all our options then he walked us thru the process. I recommend over the rainbow to anyone that has to make those dreadful sad phone calls. We will be coming here for our worst times with our little family members when the time comes. We also got Rick back the next day. Everything was so beautiful and done with loving care with us in mind. I recommend the imprints to everyone. You won't have another chance to feel them and we can feel Rick anytime we want thanks to David! Thank you thank you thank you Over the Rainbow bridge ! You made the saddest days of our lives a little easier.
I had an absolutely devastating experience when picking up my dogs cremated remains from this establishment. The woman that runs the front desk is extremely short tempered, crass and insensitive. To be running a business where people are bringing deceased pets with the hopes to bless their journey over the rainbow bridge (as it says in the name) and to be treated with such a lack of compassion is appalling. I had this experience both in dropping my pet off after he had died and when I was picking up his ashes. If I had not driven 2 and 1/2 hours and taken a ferry to come get, I would have turned right around and chosen another facility. I was referred here by someone which is why I made the trip. I'm so sad that this experience went this way. Please save ourself the heartache and frustration and choose somewhere that is actually passionate and compassionate about the sensitive nature of the work that they do. What happened was that right when I first walked in and let her know that I was there to pick up my pets remains and it had been a while, she responded as if she wasn't sure if she'd be able to find his remains even though I called a week prior and that very day to ensure that all was in order before I made the trip. She doesn't seem happy to be interacting with customers & I don't believe that she should be allowed to. Unfortunately, even though I spelled my dog's name correctly in the paperwork and it was spelled correctly on the placard for the box, his name was spelled incorrectly on his paw print which is irreplaceable. I stepped back in to have a conversation about what could be done and, because it was close to closing time, the woman seemed annoyed that I was there. I stood quietly far behind the gentleman that she was helping at the counter in a very patient manner and yet still she felt the need to interrupt the gentleman, look at me and tell me that if I was going to have any help this late, I would have to wait for Alex.... and it was in a very rude tone. It's hard to describe in writing how negative her energy was and how socially inept she seems to be... Please stop treating people this way especially when they have just lost a family member!! I hope you reconsider the way you speak to people.
I called twice, once to see if they were open. The guy who answered the phone was a bit rude. The second time from the driveway to see where to go. The lady that answered was actually bothered with me for calling and also rude. So rude we drove off. It was already a hard day with my senior cat passing away and this just added to it. Don't bring your pets here. They don't show care or any type of wanting to be "in service" to the community. It's basically, in their house on the property they have. Run down, zero signs... There are better places to trust your pet is cared for in the final act of love.
We are so grateful for the compassion, respect, and service provided by Over the Rainbow Bridge. The owner accommodated us same-day, and it meant the world to us. We had our 12-year-old beautiful gentle wise sweet girl cat Birdy cremated there. The heartbreak will remain for a long time, but Over the Rainbow Bridge was there for us when we and Birdy needed him. Birdy, you will forever be our best friend and little girl. We love you forever.
