Just want to thank Spokane Cremation service for really helping me and my brothers our mother passed and bill took care of us he knew our situation that being us from California he knew we needed her back as soon as possible he kept his word and made it happen we were able to get ourselves and our mother's remains back to California. Thank you so much may God bless you all🌹
My mother passed away unexpectedly and I paid for everything but didn’t get the funeral director’s expertise nor the funeral person’s help to get the password to play the music at the funeral home at my mother’s service. The funeral director started the funeral early at the cemetery without waiting for my brother and I to get there so, he could be a pallbearer. He couldn’t wait 5 minutes, it was terrible and I paid $3200.00. This place is unorganized, unprofessional and keep your money find a respectable place for your loved ones to be taking good care of in their last day.
Spokane Cremation and Funeral Service took care of the final services for both my mother-in-law and then a few months later, my father-in-law. We had the foresight to find a company before they passed, and we were very happy with the compassion and caring from the entire staff at the Spokane Cremation and Funeral. They did not rush me in making decisions about urns. At the end, we just called them and let them know the time had come, and they were there within a short period of time and they waited for the family to hug and cry before bringing a beautiful quilt (not just a sheet or plastic covering) to wrap each of my in-laws lovingly. It was so respectful, and something that I had not thought about before hand, but appreciated at the time. I am so grateful to them for their caring support. They offered options of small necklaces or other items to hold a small amount of ashes for each of the grandchildren. They also provided all the documents we needed for transporting the ashes in the event that we wanted to fly them somewhere to dispose. I cannot say enough about how awesome they were in the darkest time of our lives. Update in 2025... the first review was in 2020. This time they were as wonderful as before.my mother passed, and Jasmine helped me with everything, and was so kind and compassionate. Spokane cremation and funeral is so wonderful. I would give them 10 stars if I could
It's been about 5 months since my father passed away. The grief is still there, but what Jasmine gave me and my family really helped us find closure in the face of his sudden passing. My dad had already chosen Spokane Cremation and Funeral and pre-paid for several services. But he hadn't arranged any memorial service. He also didn't expect to pass away while out of town. Jasmine and Bill did great helping us (who live on the other side of the country) arrange for his body to be transported, arrange meetings when we got into town to make arrangements for a memorial service, etc. The only thing that could have been better is the presentation of his body. His skin color was... not life-like. And his suit was a little baggy on him. It would have been nice if they could have chosen a different foundation color and fitted the suit to the body a bit more. But that's the only thing that disapointed me. Jasmine walked us through everything patiently and kindly. Somehow, even in such a devastating moment, she was a shining light. She encouraged us in our endeavor to create a memorial that was unique, creative, and meaningful to us. They let us decorate the space, move furniture around, and she even helped us do all of that and load our car afterwards. She had great ideas to add and was so easy to work with. They were also very careful about privacy. When one of our memorial attendees called to ask about it, they clearly stated that they were not allowed to give any information or confirm whose service was going on. While that might be annoying to some people, I really appreciate it. To be fair, this is the first time I've dealt with anything like this. But I have organied a lot of events in my life, and this was a great experience. We were not pressured to buy anything like a nicer urn or jewelry. They were on time for all of our appointments, etc. The building is simple and the parking may be a little limited for some families (though plenty for us). But I just can't imagine a better experience, and in these moments, that's what counts. Thank you, Jasmine, for being such a wonderful person and consumate professional.
First, the death certificate information wasn't turned in on time and I had to call 2 weeks later and ask why. It was sitting on their desk and would be done. Second, social security wasn't alerted like they were supposed to and I had to do it myself. I had his ashes before the death certificate. The urn wasn't sealed like I requested. Then the pendent I bought wasn't filled with ashes like I asked. I went to the beach to spread ashes to learn it was empty. I called to ask about to be told it was and the guy asked twenty questions then determined they need to "inspect" it. I trusted them with my most precious thing to have him and me disrespected. Go elsewhere. They do not respect families.
