After receiving the worst phone call of my life over 2,500 miles away in South Carolina, I would not have made it through the unexpected death of my father had it not been for Katie. Her gentle spirit, professional guidance, and empathy provided more comfort than I ever knew possible. I never imagined this is how I'd lose the most important person in my life, but if it had to be this way, then I wouldn't have wanted anyone else for the job. Katie - you were a Godsend. Thank you will never be enough.
Obviously during such a sad time it’s hard to organize thoughts let alone plan anything for a loved one. Tammy was wonderful from first encounter. She is such a soothing voice and character while trying to navigate this process. Thank you Tammy and staff for being what we needed. We so appreciate everything you did in the beginning of mourning our mom.
First of all I want to commend Jennifer, she was kind, honest and answered all of our questions-even those we didn’t know to ask. Jennifer stayed in constant contact with us throughout the process which was difficult as he passed in a different state. Jennifer walked us through every option, gave us guidance when we didn’t know what to do and did an amazing job helping with the celebration of life. She gets 5+ stars⭐️ I took 1 star away due to the email I received from Brian Drew. This email while I’m sure is standard practice was hurtful and completely inappropriate. Brian spelled my name wrong- it’s literally on every document and literally in my email. Brian also got my husband’s name incorrect. He listed Steven not Michael or Mike. How careless, incompetent and disrespectful. To send a solicitation email about how I could have saved $2k to bring my husband “Steven home” is absolutely infuriating. His carelessness reopened my wounds, disrespected my husband’s memory and made it feel like it was just another body he was emailing a family about. I assure you he wasn’t. I hope Brian’s family never has to feel the way that email made me feel. He also sent it to my daughter which was uncalled for. His rating ⚫️
I was referred to Pacific Northwest Crematory and Funeral Home by someone I knew in Washington while I was with my father through his hospice. I live out of state, so I wasn't familiar with crematories and funeral homes in Washington state. From the moment I contacted PNW crematory and funeral home, Tamarra Bowen, was very kind, responsive and professional. I was not able to meet in person due to being with my father every day up until his death and Tamarra helped me make all arrangements and answered all my questions over the phone and on-line. She made the entire process seamless, responded to all my questions and inquiries and was very kind throughout. I was also very pleased with the cost of services and transparency, compared to other crematories and funeral homes in the nearby area. I would highly recommend PNW crematory and funeral. They were very kind and provided excellent service during an otherwise very difficult time.
This funeral home was very respectful about the loss we suffered and had extreme attention to detail. They worked with us on budget and time. They also worked with our schedule in ability to pick up our loved one's cremains.
