I want to thank Heritage for doing a beautiful service for my son Eric. Jason thank you for being so patient and kind. Jason made it so much easier especially going through such a hard devastating time in the families lives. All the employees at heritage are absolutely wonderful. Thank you very much again 😊

Beware! Predatory & Negligent Behavior Predatory Behavior: We purchased burial land years ago and recently arranged everything with the funeral home and cemetery, paying in full weeks in advance. We also paid an additional $650 for a Saturday funeral at that time. The day before the funeral, we received a call stating we needed to come to the office to discuss an urgent matter regarding the burial, but they did not specify what the issue was. Naturally concerned, we drove across town to the office, only to be informed that they wanted another $775 for the Saturday funeral. There were no other issues to discuss. Grieving and stressed, we reluctantly paid the additional fee. It was highly unprofessional to use the pretense of an “emergency” to demand more money the day before the burial. Negligence: The day after the burial, we visited our father’s grave and found the beautiful flowers our friends and family had generously donated (worth several thousand dollars) scattered carelessly 20-30 ft from the grave. Some were upside down, and others were lying on their sides, as if the workers had hastily tossed them aside. This behavior was extremely unprofessional, both from the office staff and the burial workers. There was a clear lack of respect for the family and the deceased.

Heritage funeral home and cremation service did an outstanding job with my wife’s remains. The representative that assisted me was very professional throughout the whole process. My spouse had to be shipped from Spokane back to Chicago for her funeral service. Thank you for doing an excellent job. Keep up the good work. May God continue to Bless your whole team. I had always been hesitant to go to a funeral home, but from the first meeting I felt so comforted by both Marisa and Cassie. Very professional and sensitive and were supportive through the whole difficult process. I could never say this process is enjoyable but they helped make it as pain free as possible. In addition, the location, the building and the adjoining cemeteries were beautiful. I don't think I have ever seen a nicer funeral home and adjoining cemetery. I highly recommend Heritage and both Marisa Yannotty and Cassie Barber. Scott

The funeral director Marisa was so helpful in a most difficult time. The facilities were very nice and welcoming and perfect for our family and friends.
