My parents and myself joined people’s memorial over 20 years ago and were led to believe they would pay for cremation. My Dad died April 2025 and just got a bill over $1600 to pay for cremation. They paid 15 percent. That’s way over priced and misleading. Currently living in Arizona and looking at Cremation plans at $800. Beware of Peoples memorial very misleading

I joined PMA as an idealistic young person who didn't want to be part of the death "industry". I didn't really think about actually using it. When my partner died it was the first place I called, and the last, because they immediately took care of everything. Not to sell me something but because that is their purpose. Sure, their prices are the lowest, but it how they guide you through the business of it all with total compassion that is priceless.
