Losing a pet can be an incredibly difficult experience for most people, especially children who grew up with the animal... It might be surprising to some people, but many pet owners treat their dogs, cats, and other family pets as if they are a member...
No idea where people are coming from in the reviews below talking about being treated rudely. I had nothing but positive interactions dealing with Mary. Services through the vets office wanted $300-$400 for my very small, 16 yr old cat, which was way outside what we could afford at the moment. I found Mary's number and called and she was nothing but pleasant. She quoted me an extremely reasonable price in comparison to what I had been told elsewhere. I scheduled an appt and even had to call back to reschedule for sooner after my cat passed before we made it to the vet appt and she was very accommodating. I was able to take her in within the hour of me calling. I really appreciated her service!
Great first experience using Pet Cremation Services for my pet's end of life care. I called mid day on a Friday after unexpectedly loosing our beloved Cockatiel, Memphis. Without hesitation Mary allowed me to drop him off within an hour of me calling her. When me and my 5 year old daughter got there we were met with compassion and kindness. The turn around of getting our Memphis back home was prompt as well, I requested that a few of his tail feathers be returned to us and sure enough she obliged and followed through (I used a different business before and requested this and they did not follow through) I will definitely have Mary and staff look over my pets when the time comes again.
I was so disappointed the money they charge and then you got to pay extra if you want your dog to be in a Little But that’s not the only thing that happened I think they gave me somebody else’s ashes because I have another Dog of mine that passed away and the ashes they look different so I’m wondering who do I have in my house because I did call the Lady and explain to her what’s going on and she’s started telling me different stories which I’m not happy with I think I got somebody else’s ashes in my house this is very heartbreaking I am so sad that I’m going through this my question is why do the ashes look different and why they got rocks inside my peluches ashes I don’t understand I am so confused The First photo that was in another state and I never had checked because I had trust in these people so what made me open it was the doubt about my Peluche and then you go they don’t look the same Please make sure you check what you’re doing and what they give you back because I am not happy with This sorry to say
I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who needs to say goodbye to their pet. Mary was extremely compassionate and accommodating. I suddenly lost my cat very early in the morning over the weekend. I called in and was able to take him in that same day. Within a week I had my boy home in a beautiful box I picked out. I really appreciate this mom and pop style business, it made me feel at home whole I was going through a very hard time.
Mary and Barry were so kind and thoughtful during one of the hardest times of my life. One of the only pet cramtoriums to actually pick up the phone, and the only one who would agree to cremate my beloved python who we had the opportunity to love for 13 beautiful years. We turned down the urn as we're making something ourselves, but our baby was delivered to us in this pretty little tin that was just right. Hopefully we won't need these services again for a long time, but I've recommended this business to every pet owner I know! Well worth the drive from Cumberland County.
