Saying goodbye to our beloved dog, Poe, was one of the most heartbreaking experiences of our lives, and Island Memorial made the process just a little easier to cope with, if that’s even possible. From start to finish, they showed compassion, understanding, and professionalism that gave us comfort during such a painful time. We said goodbye to Poe on a Friday evening, and one of the things we’re most grateful for is that their service allowed us to keep him with us for a weekend transfer. Having that extra time to say goodbye, as difficult as it was, truly helped us process our grief and gave us a sense of peace. It may sound morbid, but that time mattered deeply and is something we’ll always appreciate. Diana was incredibly kind and patient. She answered all of my many questions with empathy and clarity, never once making me feel rushed or burdensome. That level of compassion is rare and meant the world to us. When we picked up Poe’s ashes just a few days later, we were moved by the beautiful urn they provided. The attention to detail and the care they put into every step of the process showed us that they truly understand how important these moments are to families. Another thing that stands out about Island Memorial is the accessibility of their services. Knowing they are available 24/7 is an immense comfort, because we don’t get to choose when we have to say goodbye, and having a compassionate team available at any hour makes an unbearable moment a little less overwhelming. We are so thankful to Island Memorial for helping us through such a heartbreaking experience. Their compassion, professionalism, and dedication to honoring our beloved animals and their families is something we will never forget.

Our dog, Maple, crossed the rainbow bridge on Monday. Island memorial allowed us to bring her to them for cremation and respected our last goodbye. They held space for us when the world was dark and filled with grief. And it still is. But we have our girl home, and we are thankful for Island Memorials support with that. Their service was fast and professional. We are so grateful. Thank you all. We will surely miss Maple 🩷 she was the best girl.

From my very first contact with Diana at Island Memorial, I knew I had selected the right people to care for my dog Scout's final needs. Everyone at Island Memorial was kind, compassionate and understanding. Diana made sure that I would be able to pickup Scout's cremains before my long trip back home, and I received them in a lovely wooden box. Today I received a sympathy card from the folks at Island Memorial. These people are the best and I highly recommend them.

My vet sent my little Maltese to Island Memorial after she passed. When I picked up her remains, she was in a beautiful carved wooden box with a clay medallion of her paw print. They were in a lovely tulle bag. Such a thoughtful and elegant presentation.
