Our family has come to rely on McDougal Funeral Homes. They have taken care of my husband's parents, his grandmother and in October, my mom. I would recommend them to anyone. Darren Parker is a caring and kind person to go through this process with. I couldn't think of going through this process with anyone else. It gives me such wonderful peace of mind to know that when these difficult times come, I have someone I can turn to and trust with the details. We held the viewing at McDougal's and I heard several people compliment how well my mom's make-up looked. Her hair looked nice and her nails were even painted. My mom would have approved. That meant so much to me! (Before my mom passed, I had noticed that she had a chipped nail and it had been on my mind.) So, truly, my expectations were exceeded! For the viewing, McDougal's had a table with a tablecloth where it was easy to set up a photo display They even had a TV that we were able to use for a slideshow. It turned out beautiful. So grateful for their preparations to make it such a nice day to give tribute to my mom. Thank you!

McDougal was super helpful and understanding getting a plan in place for my mother. They walked me through everything and made sure to go over all the details. This attention became most important when my mom passed away. There was no surprise costs, no things left undetermined, no issues that I had to “deal with”. In fact there were extra funds left over to use for the services thanks to the guidance and information they gave. They took care of everything and walked me and my family through the arrangements with kindness, understanding, dignity and respect. Because of this a couple of my family have decided to have McDougal help them with their arrangements too. They provided superior service to us.

Saying goodbye to a loved one is never easy. My dad passed away early November and was brought to McDougal Funeral Homes. They have been very accommodating and treat you like people. Not only that, they care and truly understand the pain you are going through. Payment accommodations are flexible and the service goes above and beyond. While I hope you don't have to say goodbye to your loved ones anytime soon, I pray they fall into the loving care of McDougal Funeral Homes when that time comes.

They were kind, compassionate, caring, and extremely professional. They made what could have been an overwhelming event easy to navigate and much less stressful.

We worked with McDougal Funeral Home long-distance, by phone, because family members in charge of services for our loved one lived out of state or had health problems making it difficult to meet with them in person. They were very kind, answered all of our questions, and when we were able to visit, found that everything that we had asked for had been taking care of beautifully, just as we had hoped.
