The Humane Society of Utah animal shelter/clinic offers affordable spays/neuters and vaccinations, pet adoptions and rehoming, and training.
We were in town visiting and decided to stop by the Humane Society of Utah to take a look around and walk some dogs. The shelter is run incredibly well. It is clean, organized, and welcoming. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about the animals. We walked a few sweet pups, but when we checked out the cattery, we met a little orange kitty named Henry hiding behind some towels. Long story short, he came home with us to Idaho—and we quickly discovered a whole new cat. He's the most loving, quirky little guy, and his personality shines brighter than we ever could've imagined. Now known as Beans, he is so deeply loved by us and his cat/dog brothers. Thank you for everything you do, and for helping us find our perfect little weirdo 🧡
I adopted my dog from this shelter back in 2019. At the time he was just a puppy who never had any previous family or home. He was just living on the streets. I took him home and over the last 6 (almost 7!) years we have spent together, I can’t express how truly grateful I am for this dog and the love he brings into my life. When I picked him up from the shelter, they had already neutered him and provided all necessary vaccines. He was in such great hands and the workers/volunteers at the facility made the experience seamless for the both of us. I am so happy he is in my life. (The last picture was what he looked like shortly after I adopted him)
They were absolutely wonderful! Private vet offices could learn a lot from them on how to treat their customers and pets! Our cat was happy and recovered quickly. No trauma, no weird smells, friendly and kind staff and no huge vet bill!! Thank you so much!!
I can always count on being able to just show up to get my pets their shots up to date. We have been uainf them for years, and will continually to do so. Great place to get your pets shots up to date, spay or neutered, or health checks.
We adopted Tex from the Utah humane society. The adoption process was quick and easy. They sent everything we needed via email and gave us papers as well. He’s good with our daughter. Doesn’t mind our cats and is friendly with other dogs. He’s been a nice fit for our family.
