The owner Chuck was super nice and helpful but his with Heidi is an absolute nightmare. She was rude from day one, not helpful at all. When you loose a family member compassion is greatly appreciated and she has the none. We only came here because they were recommended but never again will I use Crawford Funeral home. All they care about is the money, Heidi not Chuck. If Chuck would cut his wife out of the day to day operations it would have been a much better experience.

My son passed in July. My priest recommended this funeral home. Heidi and Chuck made his funeral very special for me. They worked well with our church and memorial gardens. They Allowed me as much time with his body as I wanted. They made sure he looked just has he did in life. They were so caring and really listened to my needs and expectations for the service.

I am a local death doula who was recently hired by a family to help plan for and support the death of their loved one. On their behalf, I reached out to 6 different funeral homes here in Nashville to research prices, options, and the best support. Chuck & Heide Crawford came highly recommended by the hospice team members that we were working with and from the first time I reached out, I was impressed with how available, kind, and caring both Chuck & Heide are. This is not a corporate conglomerate, it is a mom & pop operation that prides itself on being a part of our Nashville community, and that is evident is the way they supported this family. The price list was transparent, available online, fair, and honored. There were no unnecessary add-on's, there was no upselling, and there was not a single surprise when the bill was settled. Most important, Chuck & Heide answered every email and phone call, no matter the time of day, personally and promptly. They helped us even when it was not profitable to do so for them - for example, we wanted a particular wicker casket and they advised us on the most affordable routes, not just through their catalog. They worked with us to keep this service as personal and special as the family wanted and every single minute, they treated this family with dignity and respect. When researching for this family, I was appalled at the way I was upsold, patronized, and pressured by other funeral homes. The Crawford's are a blessing to our Nashville community. It is truly like having friends in the funeral business who will walk alongside you however they can in these tender days. I am so thankful for their service.

My little sister unfortunately passed last fall, and Heide and Chuck were so wonderful and caring. The best part about them was that they were so open to us- and they provided me with an experience that I know not everyone would have. I think of them often, which is what brought me here 9 months later to write a review. Very grateful for them.

A recent family death brought me in very close touch with both Chuck and Heide Crawford. They made themselves available 24/7, explained the cremation process clearly, and were ever so patient and kind. I highly recommend them.
