When my husband passed earlier this year, I had not made any funeral arrangements in advance. Austin Funeral & Cremation was recommended to me by a Deacon at our church. From the initial contact to the completion of the funeral Carol Austin was not only professional but also extremely compassionate and responsive to my every request. On several occasions Carol came to our home to make it easier for us. She went above and beyond my expectations with every detail of the funeral. If there was ever a time when I needed help, this was the time and Carol Austin did everything possible to make the experience the best it could possibly be. She offered us options but left the decisions up to the family. I will be forever grateful for her professionalism, kindness, and compassion. When my wife passed our church recommended Austin Funeral & Cremation Services, and I could not have been more pleased with our decision to use Austin. Carol Austin and her staff were all so attentive to our needs. You can visit their office, or (if you live near their offices) they can come to your location – every effort is made to make sure the process runs a smoothly as possible. The costs surrounding a funeral can be quite expensive, but Austin’s fees all seemed very reasonable. In fact, with the attention to detail and level of service we received, I would have easily paid more and still been equally as satisfied. Carol was not able to able to attend the funeral to oversee the duties surrounding the services due to a prior commitment to another service, but her daughter and other staff did an excellent job of maintaining an air of respect and beauty for our heavily attended service. Carol has a very calming presence which was much needed/appreciated during that difficult period and the days that followed. It’s a calling to be able to help people through these times, and Carol Austin and Austin Funeral Services did such a wonderful job for our family that I will recommend them with confidence to anyone in need.
