Prairie Wind Pet Cremation

This review comes a bit late, but our gratitude to Prairie Wind Cremation is profound. We cannot thank them enough for bringing our beloved Cash home to us. Cash was a once-in-a-lifetime horse, the kind you’re lucky to encounter. Though he was my mother’s horse, she generously shared him with me as I searched for a “Cash” of my own. When she exhausted every resource at Anoka Equine to save him, she made the difficult decision to let him go. Leaving Cash behind was a heartbreaking thought, so I reached out to Prairie Wind Pet & Equine Cremation the night I returned. Corey responded immediately, and the next morning, he made arrangements to bring Cash home. Prairie Wind’s team was compassionate, understanding, and truly made a painful process easier. They even assisted us with arranging a custom urn through Dakota Bones, whose kindness matched their own. Thanks to everyone involved, our dearest Cash is home where he belongs. Our sincere thanks to Prairie Wind Cremation, Dakota Bones and all who helped us bring our sweet Cash back. Your support meant everything in our time of grief.

Our beloved Duke had terminal cancer and was starting to suffer. We did not want him to die at the vet as it was not his favorite place to go. Bethany helped to set up the local vet service to come out to their place and Duke was able to pass with a beautiful sunset and all his favorite people. They made a very sad day the best it could have been. The vet service was awesome as well. They did not know Duke but took the time to hear his story and comfort us. Thanks to everyone!

I unfortunately had to use their cremation service this week. My ferret passed on and I wanted to make sure she was properly taken care of. When reaching out to Prairie Wind they were very communicative and able to answer my questions. Upon initial drop off of my fur baby I didn't think I could afford to get an urn and bring her home. On my drive home I came to the realization that even if I can't afford it I need to bring her home and asked if I could change my mind. They said yes and that I could come get her the same night. They made this process very reassuring and easy for me. During a terrible time in life it pays to have good people in your corner. And if and when I go through this again I will reach out to Prairie Wind to care for my other babies how they did for my girl. Thank you for being so compassionate!
