I cannot say enough good things about Heritage Funeral Home. The receptionist was terrific, answering all my questions (prices etc). I worked with Darrin and to say he went above and beyond would be an understatement. At a time when my mind was in a whirlwind, they took care of absolutely everything. Their price was in between all the others I called, and am so happy I listened to my gut and not called the cheaper one, as something didn't seem quite right about it, and I have a feeling it would have been a nightmare.

Cheyloe provided an absolutely beautiful experience with the funeral and burial of my father-in-law. She made us feel cared for and supported throughout the entire journey. We faced significant and time-consuming challenges with his life insurance, and Cheyloe was incredibly patient, compassionate, and helpful every step of the way. Her kindness and professionalism meant so much to our family during such a difficult time. Highly recommended

Making funeral arrangements while racing to catch a flight should be an absolute nightmare. But it wasn't, and that is 100% due to the level of calming reassurance Cheyloe offered on the other end of the phone. My mother's funeral wishes were to have a green burial- a return to the earth. I arrived at Heritage, jet-lagged, distraught, and clueless having never planned a funeral. Darin's gentle guidance through the details gave me the peace and confidence that everything would be taken care of. On the day of the ceremony, Cheyloe's continued compassion and poise gave me the strength to let go of the details, breathe, and honor my mother fully in the moment. Kristen took the time to learn about who my mother was, what she valued, and gave a beautiful final committal at the cemetery. Even if you've planned a dozen funerals, this is the team to work with. Planning a funeral and dealing with all the details, and paperwork that follows sucks. I appears that Heritage (Kristen Peterson was our funeral director - 7 stars) has decided to approach their business from the customer’s perspective. I don’t think there was a single issue or question I had, my wife, my FIL had where the answer wasn’t “we’ll handle that” or “that’s already been taken care of”. No one can make it a pleasure, but Kristen and Heritage (and to be clear, everyone we dealt with was first class) at least made it smooth and easy and everything went off without a hitch, so it was just a little less painful.
