Greg and Trey made our family feel very welcoming and made sure my moms service was exactly how we wanted it.. they made sure that everything was taken care, even day of so we didn’t have the stress or burden of doing it all.. Very pleased with them and the service they offer! I know my mom would have been very happy with our decision to use Moseleys! Thank you guys!!
We used Moseley’s in 2024 and in 2022 for my aunt and great aunt. Greg is hospitable, gave his direct cell phone number, helped us get clergy, and the chapel service was great. I would recommend them again, hands down. Much better than another high priced funeral home that I won’t mention that rushed us as I was viewing our deceased family member and told me we needed to hurry and start the funeral and then rushed us out of there after that.
My mom's 2022 funeral service went smoothly, so for this I give them a 5 ⭐️. However, I have made numerous calls and emails/texts asking for a copy of my mom's service. I was more than willing to pay for this video copy. It's been almost 3 years and they never made any attempt to provide me a copy of her service, nor did they make any effort to contact me with a response or reason why they couldn't or wouldn't do this. Bad customer service during such an emotional time.
I really tried not to write this review because we were initially happy with Moseley Funeral Home. I even sent a thank you card for how they helped us with our father's burial at Fort Jackson. However, once the check was cashed, the service has been nonexistent. Ironically you can get a much quicker phone call if you call from a phone number they don't have for you, as when they thought it was a new customer, they responded quickly within 10 minutes. We were told the death certificate would take 10 business days and we are now over 17 business days and I cannot get a response back-either phone call or text message. My sister called and as soon as she mentioned my deceased father's name, Mr. Mosely quickly said he needed to call her back and then didn't. Dealing with a loved one's death is hard enough, you shouldn't have to chase down a funeral home to keep their end of the transaction. I paid for these death certificates, and they should be in my hand already. I will be contacting the South Carolina State Board of Funeral Service, the coroner's office, and DHEC. I don't appreciate being disrespected in this way.
They provided services for my boyfriend’s father. We were unable to get a hold of anyone to obtain receipt of payment for services needed for probate court with multiple methods of outreach to include stopping by in person at which time we were told it was being taken care. Still did not receive and required multiple more attempts! Once the receipt finally came we noticed we overpaid! Once again, crickets! A receipt should’ve been issued at the time of payment. Still no call back regarding it! Will have to take to court to get a response!
