Making end of life decisions for your loved one is very difficult. We found Mc-Alister-Smith Funeral and Cremation to be extremely professional and compassionate. They communicated in a clear and timely manner. They provided me peace of mind during this difficult process.

The in-office cremation planning with Abigail at the Mount Pleasant office was helpful, but communication and follow-through declined after payment. Promised obituary edits were not completed without needing repeated follow-up and responses were brief and impersonal. We were told the task to edit had been pushed to multiple other employees, which explains why they felt rushed and were incomplete. We did not feel like a priority. Edits were finally completed (within minutes) thanks to the West Ashley office. Overall, we expected more care and compassion during such a difficult time.

The people at McAlister-Smith were so kind and attentive. They made the process effortless and took care of everything to perfection. I cant thank them enough.

From the moment we contacted McAlister-Smith, they helped our family with our loved one's arrangements and service. The staff was professional, kind and helpful. Coming from out of state to make these preparations left us feeling extra vulnerable. It was a relief to have McAlister-Smith step in to guide us.
