Hillcrest-Flynn Pet Funeral Home & Crematory

When I lost my Sweet Old Man (Julius) on Thanksgiving this year, I'm so thankful that Hillcrest-Flynn was the Funeral Home our vet sent me to. I expected nothing more than for them to pick him up from their office, process him, call me when it was time to get his cremains, and then hand me a box at the front desk, and send me on my way. I am so incredibly thankful and glad to tell you that Hillcrest-Flynn blew my expectations out of the water. They treated the entire process with the same amount of care and quality I would expect from a human funeral home! First, I received a call to let me know they had picked my loved one up and moved him to their facility. At that time, they walked me through the process and let me know that they would include a paw print mold and fur clipping. When I went to pick Julius up, I stepped into their building and was greeted by a welcoming, but calm entry room with a simple waiting area, before being taken to a private office. There, Jess took the time to go over all of the paperwork, memorial items, and any questions I had about urns or other services. They included a folder with mourning materials from prayers to poems that touched my heart. She went above and beyond to connect with me on a personal level, let me share a little about my lost fur baby, and never once did I feel like I was just a number passing through their system. A huge bonus for me, was the moment I met Smudge. Jess had just shown me that they took not just any fur clipping, but had included a bit of all four main colors from my baby's coat. I was starting to cry when I heard a soft jingle, felt something trying to explore the fur of my winter boot, and saw a ferret requesting attention! It was a happy surprise that instantly lifted my spirits and then made my whole day when Jess told me I was welcome to hold Smudge. 😊 No one looks forward to the day their fur-babies cross the Rainbow Bridge. But, as long as Hillcrest-Flynn is around, I know the end of life process for my babies will be in good hands. ❤️

They treated my sweet girl with the utmost respect and grace. I wish I could properly express the gratitude I have for the kindness and love they gave me and my baby cat. I'm so grateful that she can pass over the rainbow bridge in honor and even allowed me to have her cremated in her favourite blanket and some of her treats.

The loss of our young pup, Thor, was devastating. The team at Hillcrest made a very difficult time a little easier. The team was compassionate and understanding. I hope I do not need their service again any time soon, but I appreciate them.

Hillcrest was so wonderful to us. The staff is so incredibly caring and compassionate. My sweet cat Max gained his wings Sunday morning. We took him to Hillcrest Monday morning, where we got to have a private viewing to say our final "I love yous" and good byes. We were told everything that would be done for our sweet boy. Tuesday morning (today), he was ready to come back home. We received his ashes in a beautiful bag, his paw print impression, his fur (they made sure to collect all his beautiful shades of orange), a copy of the prayer they said for him, his certificate of passing, and various beautiful, touching poems. Hillcrest goes above and beyond for the special fur babies, and I am so thankful this is where I chose to have my beautiful boy go. Thank you Hillcrest!

The staff was so caring during the process of having my dog, Hope, cross the rainbow bridge. It’s so hard to lose any pet, and I would trust Hillcrest again with any pet of mine.
