Philadelphia Cremations

Do not recommend overall bad experience! The lack communication, especially when the post office had lost my son's remains, being that I live in Florida as his ashes were being sent to me through the post office in Philadelphia, The post office left his remains to sit there, had contacted the Philadelphia cremation the only thing they did was send me a copy of the receipt that they had sent his ashes, they're literally right down the street ask them if they could go to the Post Office and check to see , didn't get a response, I know it wasn't their fault that the ashes got misplaced but when asked if they could assist me like I said no response, I eventually received my son's ashes but unfortunately it held us up from having his service! IT'S A terrible feeling that you may not get your loved ones ashes.

This place was Amazing ! Form start to finish. John went above and beyond what should be expected ! They picked my mother up with dignity and respect and the whole experience was flawless and stress free. At one of the worst times , they were fantastic . I couldn’t recommend a better place. We all decided to use them for our future services we may need. I’m blown away with the way they treat us .. it’s like old school practices like the way the world once was. .. if you are searching for cremation services call them. Dealing with Philadelphia Cremations was a bright spot in an otherwise sad and difficult situation. We had called one or two others but knew we found the right place after our first discussion with Erika. They treated our loved one and all of us with great care and respect and made the process as simple as possible. It is often hard to trust people without seeing them in-person so we hope this review will help others understand that Philadelphia Cremations can help you find confidence, trust, and caring in your time of need.

They are very caring and easy to talk with and handle arrangements. The process was done quickly and her remains sent to a local funeral home (though it was on the other side of the city from where I live and it took an hour to get there with traffic, but it was during morning rush hour). Other than that they were great to deal with and the cost was the lowest available without all the unnecessary overhead. Her remains came in a decent black plastic temporary urn. I had already purchased a marble urn for her myself and just transferred the ashes to it easily as they were in a plastic bad inside the urn. I was upset and a mess at the time and they made the process easy for me which I am appreciated greatly. I would give them a 10 out of 10!
