Help us preserve and promote the historical character of Laurel Hill Cemeteries Two wonderfully unique sites with an abundance of history, art, and natural beauty.
I was visiting the area on Sunday May 18th, 2025 to walk the trail and visit this cemetery. This place is huge! I actually got lost trying to get out bit I managed. There's even a Jewish cemetery inside the grounds. The streets are marked but I suggest using a navigation aid to guide yourself around this magnificent cemetery.
I received a call from a kind gentleman who apologized for the mixup. He found my acct. and promptly placed an order for my Dads dated plate. I feel so much better! He was very empathetic. Thanks for handling our families issue. Your kindness went a long way.
Similar to Laurel Hill East without as much historical internment. It's a beautifully landscaped cemetery. This is worth the visit just for a relaxing walk across the lush and tree lined roadways. For exercise or fresh air it would be very nice. There are some famous people buried here just like the East side but not nearly as many. The caretakers building is worth a visit too. There is an old fashioned horse drawn carriage worth seeing and it's a good stop for water/restrooms.
Just spectacular. Amazingly beautiful. One of THE best. So much to see and take in, especially the unique finds and its good seeing my favorites again. Even if your not the cemetery aficionado, the vastness and grandeur sets WLH apart from others. Take a day and walk through. Enjoy.
This is a first-rate facility run by wonderful people. I had the good fortune to work with Patricia Quigley, one of the primary Funeral Directors there. From the moment that I had to make the initial call, she and her staff were kind, attentive to my needs, and supremely empathetic. They made an excruciatingly difficult situation as bearable and manageable as humanly possible, and I'm grateful from the heart for their involvement and engagement. Thank you, Patricia and staff.
