Our family had the best experience during such a stressful time in our lives. The staff (especially Edith) was incredibly sensitive, caring and thoughtful. She reviewed everything in a helpful manner without trying to sell additional Items. We are grateful for the kindness shown to our family and friends. Thank You!

My grandmother had her funeral done here, and Jean was so patient and understanding with our consistent needs to make adjustments. Everybody that we have spoken to has been super friendly and very sympathetic to our current situation, overall it has been a very difficult time for my family but they have helped us make things as smooth as possible

I’ve lived in Portland for over 60 years. My grandmother sent for us. We came by bus from Texas. The very person Julie Alexander is buried right there in the front on the wall her twin sister, too my grandfather‘s buried there my uncle’s buried there my aunt my sister, younger and older sister and Francis is buried there so many people in my family is buried there I moved to Bend Oregon so I came back to Portland to visit. Wanted to go see my sister okarerat Alexander. Nickname cookie I went to the front desk asked the lady where would the grave be she act like she was looking it up Said there’s no one buried here by that name so I asked about my grandmother. She said no one is buried by that name. I ask about my aunt. No one is Buried here by that name I said that’s impossible. I went to all of the funerals. She said no one’s buried here by that name. We don’t have any Alexander’s here. I could not believe what I was hearing, so I turned, walked away on the way back to my car. A gentleman ran out and said here’s the map. This is where your sister is buried all I could think was she deliberately lied to my face for what reason all I could think of racism still runs deep, I was shocked that a business would drop so low what kind of person does it take to to say something like that at a funeral home this place is the worst of the worst that was I will never return if I could give you a zero or minus stars I definitely would

I attended my young friend’s funeral here. The man who was doing the service was very unprofessional and kept bringing up his likeness to Billy Idol during the service. He gave an uncomfortably long speech and kept making tone deaf comments like “we always bury the bodies facing east. No clue why”. I think that the man doing the service was filling in for someone else but man, it was horrible.

Our family has attended several burials at this cemetery. Each time has been respectful and very nice simple arrangements. This cemetery is very well cared for and is a very peaceful place. For those who have Japanese roots, there is also a designated section within the cemetery that has many Japanese families and history.
