This place should be investigated. They lied over and over as I tried to find out if my sisters body was there, if it was cremated, and they didn’t send the info to the right county for her death certificate. They actually blamed the 2month delay on Multnomah county when I finally called them myself. Liars liars liars don’t trust them!

Vehicles in the fleet are well maintained and no more than a few years old. Staff are required to show up to work in an enforced uniform style. If you need them to assist on a call, they arrive in clean newer vehicles, dressed in dress shirts and slacks. Competition uses older vans, with staff dressed in cheap black polos and cargo pants. (That's best case scenario, it might be a dirty polo and jeans) Plus side of the competition is that they are willing to complete your internal paperwork. PCC only commits to their own internal paperwork, which makes sense, why require removal staff to know how to I'll out first call paperwork for 20 different funeral homes. I will continue using Portland Cremation Center. They do a good job when embalming, and a good job taking care of calls. If you call them requesting an extra set of hands to help you at a house call, they are almost too fast. Staff is more than willing to adapt to your style when helping you out at first calls. Every staff member refers to me as, "Sir", which makes me feel old.(I probably am in their eyes)

My brother is a veteran and this place sent me the death certificate form I completed and returned. They put "unknown" for his parents, place of birth, military status and wrong address then lied about him being sent to Willamette Cemetery. I don't know where he is. My brother's DCs are filled out as indigent and useless. The owner Craig yelled at me to get an affidavit to change the DC regardless that the employee deliberately lied on it. Craig is unprofessional, threatening and heartless just like his little employee who lies with a smile. The VA National Cemetery Scheduling Office stated they never received the requested call from them to have my brother sent to Willamette cemetery for veterans. They are following up. No respect for the dead or hurting loved ones. I have to file a complaint.

This is NOT Neptune. This is a business of similar services in the same building NOT the same suite #E. When I attempted to email Neptune I mistakenly emailed this company who promptly replied to let me know. I feel they could have easily deleted it bc it's not their company, but they didn't. THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thank you.

The staff at Portland Cremation Center is very caring and professional. Thanks for all you do for the community. It's noticed and appreciated.
