If one’s pet (often soulmate) as was in my case, dies suddenly, negotiating cremation prices isn’t your first priority. It certainly wasn't for me. Profound grief and loss often permeate one’s business cognition. I didn’t think I was accusing this company of exploiting a pet owner’s impenetrable loss. But In hindsight, that’s exactly what I'm doing. I had called to ask if this company provided private viewing for one’s pet cremation. Their answer was YES, but it would cost an extra $250. The reason: they were saving the first cremation of the day for you. Fair enough. But what they failed to tell me, was that you don't ACTUALLY GET TO WATCH the private cremation you paid for. You GET to watch them load your pet onto a large cremation machine, or conveyer belt, after which, the crematorium door or apparatus is closed. You watch NOTHING. The detail of not actually witnessing the deceased pets’ de facto burning should be made transparent to the customer. After all, a near $500 fee for a private witness cremation should be flawless and fulfilled to the letter. My pet’s cremation was nearly 2 months ago. I have been inconsolably heart sick, and did not examine the mechanics and actual cost of her cremation until recently. These aren't the worst crooks, exactly, but it depends on your definition. Withholding information is lying. They provide a nice clay footprint from your pet as part of the fee and a tiny cedar box with the ashes. They're what you'd call opportunists. Times are very hard. People need to know exactly what they're paying for—and what one ACTUALLY GETS VERSUS WHAT IS PROMISED. Peace be upon you.

After our sweet Bella passed, my husband and I were able to go on a Saturday afternoon and they got us right in. They were so kind and when we picked her up we got a paw print and hair clipping. It was very comforting to us. Thank you so much for providing this service and your kindness in a very difficult time.

Dear Ashley, I am writing this message with immense gratitude and a heart full of appreciation for the exceptional care you provided to our beloved Lulu during her time at Newburgh Pet Cremation. Losing her has been immensely difficult for us, and your support and compassion have meant the world to our family. From the moment we entrusted Lulu to your care, you demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism and empathy. Your dedication to ensuring that Lulu was treated with the utmost respect and love is truly commendable. We cannot express enough how grateful we are for the way you handled everything during these challenging times. The fact that you were able to return Lulu to us on the same day is a testament to your commitment and efficiency. Having her back home with us has brought us a sense of comfort and solace during this painful period of mourning. Your attention to detail and the care you exhibited throughout the process is deeply appreciated. But beyond the logistics, it was your genuine warmth and support that truly touched our hearts. Your words of comfort and understanding provided us with much-needed solace, reminding us that we were not alone in our grief. Your kindness and empathy have made a lasting impact on our family, and we are eternally grateful for your unwavering support. Please accept our heartfelt thanks for everything you have done for us and for Lulu. You have gone above and beyond, and your dedication to your work is truly admirable. We are incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with someone as compassionate and caring as you. Once again, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for taking care of our baby girl, Lulu. Your kindness, love, and support have touched us deeply. We will forever cherish her memory, and your role in ensuring her final journey was filled with dignity and compassion. With sincere appreciation, Edward & Brian

I cannot thank Ashley and her husband enough for opening their shop on a very late, very sad Thursday to take in our dog for cremation. They are incredibly professional and very attentive to detail that pet lovers need so that every thing is handled. The result is a wonderful product that my family and i love and will display for a very long time. Job well done.

Our dog passed unexpectedly, and I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Ashley. She was so kind, and is very detailed in what she does, and what you receive back after cremation. The clay paw print is something we will cherish forever, and she even included his two different hair colors in the clippings.
