I got a sweet lil baby yesterday from them and she is loving it here! I even made her a little play room. Plus the staff was super friendly that made the adoption process really fun and easy!
I understand this is a universal rule across all counties, but it's really frustrating. While working in Beaverton between 4AM and 5AM, I found a dehydrated and hungry dog, suggesting it had been out for a while. I took the dog with me since it was dark and nothing was open. I live in the Gresham-Damascus area and cannot keep the dog overnight. He's young, untrained, doesn't know any commands, and is very strong. He tries to sprint at anything that moves (including airplanes lol). Although he's friendly, he doesn't realize his strength and could accidentally hurt other pets or people. The dog has already damaged the inside of my car, so I'm not keen on transporting him back to Washington County. Despite my efforts to do the right thing, the county's response was essentially, "you're out of luck." It's really disappointing. Please contact Banfield Gresham immediately if you know this dog, his owners, or can take him. He has a microchip, was scanned at Banfield and they are looking for the owner. They have my contact info and is the regular hospital for my own dog. Maybe 2-4 years old. Found him around Baxters in Beaverton. Washington County will not pick this dog up... π I don't have social media.
Awesome folks! My partner and I came in looking to adopt a cat, and everyone we encountered was incredibly nice, helpful, and obviously passionate about caring for animals. They made the process of picking out a kitty very easy and enjoyable. Once we found a furry friend that seemed like the perfect pick, the remaining paperwork and information we needed was simple and painless, but also very thorough. I would 100% recommend this shelter for anyone looking to adopt a new pet, these are great folks who are doing amazing work. We are so excited to bring home our new kitty in a couple of days!! Thank again, guys π»
Oregon is well served with Multnomah county animal services. The facility is large, which means many wet noses to care for. Traffic is no friend to furry critters and feathered creatures as well, unfortunately the deceased animals will remain unless - Multnomah county animal services. I really thank one of the employees today at around 1900 hrs on or about 140th and Halsey. I was noticed taking pictures of an expired animal by an employee off work. Suffice to say, I really appreciate the work and effort of this bastion for Multnomah county beings.
My husband and I adopted our boy from Troutdale animal shelter. We never had an animal after almost 10 years together. This little guy has brought so much joy into our lives. He loves attention and could talk all day long. Itβs been just about a month and heβs been the sweetest cat. He still hates when we go into a different room and screams but is getting a bit better on that. He is such a talker itβs the cutest thing!! Meet our new kitty Earl!
