Warning do NOT use Pets at Peace! Our Lily went to heaven a little over a month ago. I called Pets at Peace to have her cremated. I paid half before they picked her up from the veterinary hospital and was going to pay the other half when we received her ashes, as agreed. I’ve called, sent text messages, my husband has called, & sent text messages and we still don’t have her back. I would highly suggest you find another company for your pets cremation services. Yesterday they said they would bring her to me so I sent them my work address and hours. I didn’t leave my office, not even for lunch. I never heard from them, so I sent a text message and my husband and I both called. I don’t think we’re ever going to get her back. If I could give zero stars I most definitely would. This is the most unprofessional business I’ve ever dealt with in my life
He has our little Letty, AND our money but after almost 2 weeks will not respond to any calls . We are still trying to get ahold of Phil. We will NOT stop until we have our girl back. I will update this post when something happens EDIT: We finally got her back after almost 5 weeks. WE had to constantly call, leave messages which went unanswered until finally we got a message back saying he would drop her off at the veterinarians. It was very difficult to get ahold of Mr. Phil. Just be aware that there is a possibility that you might not hear from him...
Do not use Pets at Peace. Our dog Daisy was a beloved member of the family. She was my first dog and went on many adventures over the years. Her passing was very hard on the family. We were encouraged to use Pets of Peace, by our veterinarian. The experience has been horrible. We were told we would receive our Daisy in a urn, an ink paw print and a molded paw print. My wife had to call the vet and Pets of Peace multiple times after we heard nothing for over a week. It took a month to get Daisy back. My wife was able to track somebody down, apparently the delay was because they didn’t have the last 4 digits of our credit card. They said they were trying to get ahold of us but we did not receive any calls. In addition to this, once we finally got Daisy back, the ink prints were terrible and there was no paw mold. Again we had to hunt down what happened. My wife spoke with Phil, the owner, he let her know it broke, but didn’t charge us for it. Per Phil, he has had MANY crack during the process. He didn’t even offer to send us the cracked pieces so we could glue it back together? I could have at least made a negative of the mold and re-do it! At this point it’s been over a month and a half, multiple calls, multiple conversations, zero apology, what we were promised was not provided and how do I know if what is in this urn is even Daisy? Losing a beloved animal is stressful enough, you don’t need the added stress of managing their remains in this way. If you have an animal that you hold close to your heart and want to remember them, do NOT send them to Pets at Piece. Make sure you have lots of wonderful pictures!
I wish i could give this place a -100000 stars do not ever use this place I brought my dog here on a Monday to be cremated and was told she would be ready on Friday and we'll the following Tuesday he called saying she was ready and when I arrived to pick her up she was still outside in a wagon with flies all over her very bloated, the guy phil said he could have her ready the next day but I demanded my money back and he did give my money back but nobody should ever have to go through that or a pet and that's the worst business ever. If you need a good place go to serenity pet cremation.
I was so sad to have to put down my Lacey girl.. I love animals and I never like seeing anything in pain. I am so thankful to Pets at Peace for giving me the ability to bring her to back to her final resting place. She roamed our 5 acre lot for nearly 10 years and now she will be on her favorite land forever. Thank you Phil!
