I am very grateful for the exceptional care provided by LEAF Cremation. When my father passed away, they respectfully and promptly picked him up from Ohio’s Hospice in Dayton and transported him to their Columbus facility for cremation. Within about a week, his remains were hand-delivered to me at my home in Dayton in a beautiful wooden urn, accompanied by an embroidered U.S. flag in honor of his Navy service. The price, service, and convenience were unmatched, and I deeply appreciate the compassion and professionalism they showed during such a difficult time.
I don’t want to be writing this review. So, why am I? Well, my brother died. I have been treated with so much kindness and care by Leaf Cremation after Paul passed . Arielle spoke to me with her seriously kind tone of voice. She was not just as sweet as can be, she gave me support in my grief that I needed when it was hard to function. She called me just to see how I felt. Even writing this now reminds me how much Arielle and Taylor helped. Everything about Paul’s cremation was handled with professionalism. I live on the West coast. My family lives in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Leaf coordinated and shared the exact time of the cremation so my far flung family could pray for Paul at the exact time they cremated his body. The person in charge notified the Leaf team and Arielle made sure ( on her day off ) to notify us prior to the exact time his body left this earth. Besides all of this , we needed his care to be affordable. Leaf is affordable and an amazing bargain for what they do. They picked up his body in Mt. Vernon and transported it to the crematorium. They sent his ashes to me to scatter in the ocean, Paul loved dearly, and under the Redwood trees where I live. If you don’t know who to call with a sudden death or if you choose to plan in advance. Don’t hesitate to contact them. I have no doubt you will be offered the same tender care as I have been by any of the caregivers at Leaf. Blessings to you at this important time when a choice must be made.
Top notch facility and very caring staff. When my husband died at our home during hospice, it was in the late evening. I didn't know who call to come get him at that hour. I Googled cremation services and many said 24/7 service but none would come for my husband until the next day. Also, I didn't know much about the places I searched, like the cost and what they would do, but then a miracle occurred. I found Leaf cremation! When they answered, they were caring, they were able to come to my house that evening, and the cost of the basic service was listed on their website. Two lovely ladies came to my house and the first thing they said was, "First of all, we are so sorry for the loss of your husband." They were so kind to me during a really sad time. They were so gentile moving him from the bed to the gurney, and since my husband was a veteran, they covered his body with an American flag cover. I paid less than their online price because they gave me a veteran discount. They explained the process really well, and when they brought my husband's ashes to me, the urn was a beautiful wood box. They gave me an American flag in a protective cover, and also a folder about grief and things I should do, like notifying agencies, etc. They called me a week later to see how I was doing. When I die, I'm going to be cremated there:-)
1,000 out of 100 recommend this place & here’s why. My partner & i had unfortunately lost our little one. We didn’t get the best service at the hospital we were at & just after all that with the hospital it was stressful & overwhelming we couldn’t bare the thought of how more stressful & overwhelming it would be to get our little one cremated & back home with us but we knew that’s what we wanted to do so i started looking up places called the first one that popped up because this was our first time going through something like this & i didn’t know how to go about all of this. i spoken to a very nice lady who talked me through it all & got everything in order. well silly me not even realizing where they were located once i seen i panicked. called them back right away & again spoke to a really nice lady who ensured me that i was still in there 100 mile radius & everything could still go on as planned. these people are really just the sweetest people every single person i talked to was very kind & the whole process it’s self was so easy & smooth. They communicate & keep you updated about every step before it’s even done & after. i had absolutely no worries or issues. They got our little back home in such a reasonable time & not only that they hand delivered him to us. i didn't have to go there for paperwork. i didn’t have to leave the comfort of my home for any of it, which was very nice during a difficult time. overall their entire service is top tier & we couldn’t thank them enough now our sweet angel is back with his family! Thank you guys again for all that you do & the way you do it!
