Families First Cremation and Funeral at Edwards

Families First was very attendant and helpful during the memorial preparations for my mother. She had made pre-death arrangements but in another state (before moving to Ohio), so Families First was contracted as a third party to execute her cremation. Nonetheless, Families First was incredibly conscientious of our family's wishes and timeline and communicated with us well (kindly, expeditiously) throughout the process. I can highly recommend their services.

I want to publicly thank Family First Funeral Home for their services. The services that they provided were excellent, to say the least. When they came to the home to take my mother's body they presented themselves professionally with respect, kindness and consideration to our family and most importantly to my mother's body as they removed her from the house into the vehicle. The funeral home director Thaddeus D Pratt went beyond his call of service. He showed much compassion to us and explained everything to our understanding. When my grandmother passed a few years ago my mother chose Edward's funeral home. I don't remember alot about that day. Except how the people did everything possible to help us . So when my mom passed last month I didn't worry about trying to find a funeral home. I called the only place that made my worse day well easier I didn't even remember to bring her clothes they took care of that. My mom made a joke about drawing on her eyebrows when her day comes. I bet they would have. Its so much easier when you have a funeral home that will do whatever to make your worst day just easier.. Cynthia McCain

Families first were very helpful during such a difficult time. They helped find affordable options and were very sensitive to the situation. Thaddeus was very accommodating and helpful especially because I was flying in from out of state and had a short timeframe for everything. They made sure our loved one was taken care of and kept us updated along the way. Would recommend using Families First.

Families First gave me the best experience I could possibly have, during the worst time of my life after losing my father. Grace and Thaddeus were so very kind, gentle with their conversations and supportive. From the moment i initially called in, I felt I made the right decision. When they arrived to pick my father up from my home, they acted with so much compassion and kindness I was actually blown away. The level of respect they showed my father and my family cannot be matched. I am forever grateful for them and HIGHLY recommend Families First. Of course I wish that none of us ever has to make this type of call but unfortunately if you do, they are most definitely the right choice.
