Death is never easy, especially with our pets. I recently lost my pet hedgehog Sassi due to old age, and I brought her to DeJohn Pet Service to get cremated. My grandma brought her two dogs here in the past year, and I was told to give them a call when Sassi passed away. I knew they did a great job when my grandparents dogs passed away. When I went in DeJohn’s and experienced it myself, it was beautiful and comforting. Jennifer was very tentative and caring for not only Sassi, but for me as well as I decided what I wanted to do. I was able to get my pet hedgehog’s paw prints with ink and clay, a beautiful wooden urn, an ink nose print, and her fur clippings. There are many other beautiful options for your pets as well, but those options are what I chose. It’s a sad moment and time in our life when we have to do this for our pets, but I’m very happy Sassi was well taken care of and now back home with me💕🦔

my dane was taken care of as if she were the operators own pup. i will forever be thankful to her for handling my sweet girl with such care and keeping her dignity. from the moment i called at 5am, i felt like i had the best support. i got a call back right when they opened, i was given a name of a transport company (as she was 100lbs, squad 51 is the name), and made it known that she was in great hands and would be very loved. thank you again for everything. i would recommend this place 1000 times over

Early April I had to make the heartbreaking decision to allow my sweet girl Belle to cross the Rainbow bridge. She was 14 1/2 years old and her quality of life was no longer there. I knew I was keeping her for me, not for her. After having someone come to my home, I took her to DeJohn Pet Services. Belle and I have known Jennifer for years. Jennifer walked me through everything, allowed me to take my time to say goodbye and made sure I knew she would be with Belle the whole time. After picking up her ashes, I received a beautiful box, paw and nose prints and necklace I wear often. Jennifer made this heartbreaking situation just a bit better. You will not go wrong with trusting her with your precious family member.

I had always know when the time came that I would use DeJohn because of the high praises a friend had given after losing a dog. I was fortunate that after over 16 years together I didn't have to make the decision for my Derby boy, he went on his own terms while being held in my arms. When I met Jennifer, to say the emotions were raw is an understatement. She listened to stories and shared parts of hers that I needed. She allowed all the time I needed for my goodbye. What's more she insured to get him back to me by my birthday which was quite close. Jennifer was divine influence, as far as I'm concerned. She was put in my path at the right time and right place. I never knew someone else could care for my puggy boy like I did, but she did.

Jennifer is truly a godsend. 💛 When we unexpectedly lost our sweet Rosie last week, Jennifer cared for her with such tenderness, compassion, and grace. Every aspect of what she does is guided by deep empathy and understanding for what we go through when saying goodbye to a beloved pet. She made an incredibly painful time just a little bit easier—offering peace of mind, comfort, and genuine care when I needed it most. I am endlessly grateful for her kindness and professionalism.
