The staff was very caring and compassionate! They came in outside of office hours to take my baby boy in. I drove 30 mins outside of my way because my heart told me this was the place for him/me. I am truly grateful for Companion Care!!
Tank was an amazing companion, our 16 year old Chocolate Lab was such a good friend and so much more. He was family and that is how the staff at Companion Care treated him. I am so grateful for their care and compassion.
Wonderful experience at a difficult time. We had our boy back the same day. Thank you so much. Update-July17th 2025 They not only cared for my sweet Dexter with the utmost compassion after we lost him, but once again, Julie and Talia proved to be absolute angels to our family. They went out of their way to personally deliver Dexter’s remains to me at work so I had him back home before the weekend, a gesture that touched my heart deeply. After trusting Tufts with my husband’s funeral and now the arrangements for two of our beloved fur babies, I can say without hesitation that Julie and Talia are not only exceptional in their profession—they have hearts bigger than life itself. Thank you both for your unwavering kindness and grace.
First off I want to start by saying thank you for taking care of my baby. But I do have one thing I’d like to say about my experience.. I arrived on thursday the 18th of September, at about 3:40pm.. it was close to closing time and for that I do apologize.. but I had just put my best friend of ten years down, I came straight from euthanizing him to here.. when I arrived nobody was in the building so I called the number and a man answered and said he’d be right down. When he came down he immediately just seemed annoyed at me. Immediately asked how much my dog weighed and once I told him he just took off to grab a cart, he then just started walking to my car without saying a word.. I helped him lift my dog onto the cart and he started walking off and stopped and asked “are you done?” ( I believe he said that I was so distraught my memories foggy) And I told him I’d like to give my dog a kiss .. I walked inside afterwards and he handed me paperwork and I was still actively crying so he asked me if I’d like him to fill it out. He was noticeably rushing me. He then received a phone call and put the phone on speaker and was telling someone he had a family here and stuff. Then he gets off the phone and tells me he has to be somewhere at 4:30.. I asked him when my dog would be ready for pickup and he told me he doesn’t work down at the pet area and that they will call me tomorrow…. I know people have things going on and I arrived very late in the business day but I could hardly think straight, I was by myself and i felt this man just didn’t treat me with any kindness or sympathy… when I talked to someone the next day on the phone they were very empathetic and polite. picking up my dogs ashes was quick, and the man was very polite and sympathetic once again. I would still recommend this place. But dropping my dog off was not a great experience, and it bothered me a lot..
When my 16 y.o. malamute/fluff of my life/best friend/service dog passed away, the world as I knew it was over. The folks here were sent from Heaven. Can not thank them enough for their care, attention to detail, understanding, patience, and their quick turn around time to get my boys ashes back home with us.
