North Raleigh Mobile Vet - Euthanasia in Home Service

Dr Burroughs and Houston were a godsend when my beloved cat Midas started declining more quickly than anticipated. I made an appointment for the next day but Houston gently suggested cats can be sicker than they appear and indeed my boy was beginning to have some breathing issues. Houston scrambled heroically to get Dr Burroughs to our home in less than an hour arriving promptly at 7:30 PM as promised. I feel like I've known Dr Burroughs all my life somehow. She was wonderful to talk to during a very painful hour of my life, making it a little easier. Probably the best service I have ever used for anything. Though it may be the hardest day of your life, your furry little souls deserve to cross over peacefully, at home, in comfort, with this team of angels on Earth. Peace.

I am incredibly thankful for my experience with North Raleigh Mobile Veterinarian and for the service they provide. Dr. Burroughs was incredibly kind and compassionate on what was a very hard day. She explained the whole process ahead of time, answered questions, and gave me all the time I needed to say goodbye to my cat of 15 years. Dr. Burroughs really was so good and so professional at leading me through this tough process. She even offers a quality of life check to help give some peace of mind about such a hard decision. I'm so grateful to have been able to say goodbye to my buddy in our home-- a place he felt comfortable and at ease. It was so worth it to me. I was able to hold my cat as he passed peacefully. Shann is a hero. Her and her team helped us setup a time within hours to euthanize our 12 year boy. He was in slow decline until it escalated within a day's notice. We were able to contact her team around 6am and luckily she had an opening at 9:30am. It was the hardest decision to make but she made it easier as our boy became no longer capable of walking and needed to be put to rest. Highly recommend Dr. Burroughs as she made our longest day as quick and painless as possible. We're forever grateful for this same day service and honestly got lucky she had a cancellation which opened up the available time slot. You're the best and have the biggest heart, Shann. Best of wishes to any future pet patients/parents, and rest assured you're in good hands.

Dr. Burroughs is a compassionate, reassuring, and deeply kind person. She's also an EXCELLENT vet. We had to say goodbye to our 17 year old puppy dog Beau yesterday. Shann and her support staff made the whole process (communicating with us, scheduling etc) as easy as possible. Beau was never in any pain, not stressed, and got to be in his home with his family at the end. Truly grateful to have had her help us on this difficult and painful day. I highly recommend Dr. Burroughs. She was able to come to our home to help transition our 16 year old dachshund Jasper peacefully. She was caring and helped us walk us through each step and allowed for us to grieve. She was amazing during this hard time.
