I absolutely made the best decision in choosing Endswell Funeral home. They were the most caring, thoughtful and knowledgeable group of people! They helped me with all of the repatriation process for my loved one. Veronica and the whole team did not hesitate to answer any of my questions, not matter the time or day. If you choose endswell your loved one will be in the best of hands. I cannot thank them enough!

I should have gotten around to writing this review sooner. I just wanted to find the right words to capture how appreciative I am of Endswell. I’m still not sure that I have, but better late than never. Endswell is truly a treasure and I feel so fortunate to have had them right here in Hillsborough. I began to fill out the intake paperwork online when my husband’s illness had progressed to the point of hospice being the only good option left. Just starting the paperwork felt overwhelming to me at the time. The Endswell team responded quickly; walking me through everything and making it feel a little less scary having gotten a plan in place. They didn’t oversell themselves- just made me feel like they were there if & when I needed them or had any questions. When my husband did pass they made everything feel very comfortable and natural. (Not creepy & stuffy like my impression of traditional funeral homes). I worked mainly with Veronica and she actually seemed to care and take time to see the beauty and uniqueness of my husband and to consider what it meant for us to lose him. I have 2 teenage children and I think that EndsWell’s approach also went a long way to helping them with the transition. When my son and I picked up my husband’s ashes we were both nervous about what that would be like since the last time we saw him he had a body. We had a little quiet time with his remains after they were brought out. When we picked up his urn and held it to our chest it felt right and good and we were happy this part of him was coming home. Working with Endswell was a life changing experience. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

My experience with Endswell was exceptional from start to finish. Hunter and Veronica were both very easy to work with and showed kindness and compassion to all of my family members. Jordan did a great job with the on line obituary and was very patient with all the additions and changes that were made.The various urns that were available are made by local artisans and are beautiful. I chose multiple small urns that were given to all my mother's children and grandchildren. I highly recommend this company. It is run by good people and provides an eco friendly alternative to cremation.

Endswell is a beacon of kindness during some of the hardest life decisions you will ever need to make. I think the mark of a good business is a place that treats you like family before you ever spend a dollar. Who treats you with respect and compassion and gives you their undivided attention before you make the decision to use their services. My father was in an unfortunate situation where he had a life changing fall while on vacation in NC resulting in his whole life needing to be transferred to NC. He is from Pennsylvania and had pre-paid for services in Pennsylvania 20 years ago. My dad put me in charge of finding a place in NC that we could use for her services when the time would come. Hunter and Aly were truly amazing. They gave me time to process what was happening, all the information I needed, helped me to transfer his arrangements to NC, kept me informed every step of the way, went to visit my dad at his nursing home so that he felt included in the process, and so much more. They are a family business and it shows. Their prices are beyond reasonable which shows me that they are more invested in people and offering compassionate services, than they are in making money. And I respect that deeply. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to Endwell and I would highly recommend them to anyone!
