Cremation Society of the Carolinas

During a difficult and stressful time, Tommy and Elizabeth made the process very comfortable and very easy. I’ve been through this before and experienced a lot of up selling and being asked to make uncomfortable financial decisions during that tough time, but not here as they were very respectful, prompt, and helpful, and overall the cost was very fair compared to other places. They handled all the arrangements and made sure to keep me up-to-date. They even followed up afterwards on how I was doing, which was very nice. Cremation Society of the Carolinas was a great resource for me and I’m glad they were there to help.

Love, sharing life experiences, as well as togetherness is so special in a marriage, but when your spouse suddenly passes, life turns very emotional. I am so thankful that Elizabeth and Tommy at the Cremation Society of the Carolinas as we prepaid for their services years ago and they eased my stress as well as assisted with documents along with any questions. I recommend their services for the passing of a love one.

The Cremation Society of the Carolinas were wonderful in caring for my sweet wife, Debbie. I am very thankful for the personal but professional manner in which they assisted me. I highly recommend their services. From picking Debbie up at our home throughout the process, it was a very caring and loving experience.

I don't know where all the negative reviews come from. We had such a great experience with them. We called cremation society to cremate our baby (pregnancy loss at 6 months pregnant). Tommy was just outstanding! Awesome commutator, he would get back to us right away. I literally cannot say anything negative about the facility or the employees. Would highly recommend!!

A SHOCKING AND TERRIBLE experience. A month after my husband's cremation a Jesse called to tell me to come pick up a bag of his belongings -- photos of our family , his favorite candy - when I said those were designated to be cremated with him! What happened?? did they lose them?? Forget about them?? I told him I was so upset I didn't even know what to say to him . Jesse showed no compassion or understanding and in fact emailed a few moments later saying oops, actually those possessions did go with him! (nice effort trying to cover his tracks) I sent him back his voicemail saying he was going through the bag and listing the contents which were right in front of him, so that was completely dishonest. One would hope for a funeral home to treat everything about your loved one with care and respect, but Cremation Society of the Carolinas was so dishonest that I question how ethically they handle our loved ones. ***UPDATE: On seeing the negative reviews I left with the BBB, Google and Yelp, they offered me my money back: The terms were if " I WITHDREW MY NEGATIVE REVIEWS" ", unethical and devious. This company has had other public complaints, including even more horrific circumstances than mine. Avoid this business.
