The process for cremation for my father was quick and easy process, super polite by the staff offering three condolences to my father. Price was personally below the average for cremation that I researched for other places in the rdu area at other funeral homes. Thanks for taking care of my father and making the process easy for my family!!!

My family and I had a terrible experience with this funeral home. I do not recommend this place to anyone. They made our experience so draining, stressful and even more hard. During the process, something was always delayed. The process of sending my grandmother to Mexico was super long. Her body was sent to Mexico almost a month after she passed away which is ridiculous! they never told us it would take that long. All we wanted were honest answers and we do not believe that was given to us. The one thing they did do well was the preparing of my grandmother’s body, I will say that.

I am disappointed with the service I received. The funeral home did not deliver what was promised, and throughout the process there was a noticeable lack of communication and information. During such a difficult time, clear guidance and follow-through are essential, and unfortunately those expectations were not met.

City Of Oaks made a very sad and emotionally draining experience as easy as it could possibly be. Somer and her staff were extremely caring, informative, and made this process a smooth one. From the initial meeting, to the choices of services/products, and the final acceptance, we always felt our needs and feelings were the upmost importance. Also, all costs are set out initially, and there are no “hidden fees” or necessary add-ons. No offense, City Of Oaks, we hope we don’t have to call you again for quite a while, but you will be my recommendation if I have anyone ask if I know of a place…

The City of Oaks was perfect for my dad's wishes. He wanted simple and yet classy for his military funeral. Jessica helped me understand for a moment; I was upset. I had never attended a funeral, and I was stuck on words ans a process, and she helped calm me down. City of Oaks went above ans beyond to help, even getting my father a shirt he had not put in his funeral clothing. I now know what to expect in the future and we will use City Of Oaks again.
