Carolina Pet Crematory

Instead of printing a poem that has no significance to me as a pet parent, I’d prefer if they had standard practices of memorializing, like taking a clipping of fur from the body. As well I thought the clay paw print was sloppily done and the ink print of the nose and the paw seemed photo copied so they weren’t very distinct.

So far, this is my third time having to call Carolina Pet Crematory for assistance. I am very appreciative that they arrive fairly quickly and have everything ready to pick up in a couple of days. I would definitely be lost without them.

We recently had to put our beloved family pet, Hershey, to sleep. We were blessed to have her in our family for close to 16 years. Having to do this far exceeded the difficulty I could have ever imagined. We were all-heart broken - me, my wife, and the three kids. It was during this time the Carolina Pet Crematory stepped in with such wonderful care and compassion. Our regular vet was out of town, so we had to have the procedure done at another vet (and they too were great), but we decided to bring her body over to Carolina Pet ourselves as opposed to having her picked up from the vet. I spoke to Justin a couple of times throughout the day, and he was so compassionate and reassured me with all my questions. When we arrived, we were greeting and his father-in-law, Wayne, who met our family for one final goodbye. He shared some very comforting words regarding Hershey and then prayed with us, which was so appreciated. When I got the call the next day that "Hershey was ready to go home", Justin had the sweetest note "written" from Hershey along with her remains and a mold of her paw print. As I sat in the car and read my note and touched the mold of the paw print, my happy memory tears started flowing all over again. Thanks you Justin, Wayne and staff for making a difficult time beautiful and special.

Carolina Pet Crematory is run by such wonderful people. They were so very kind and understanding during such a terrible time for me. They let me visit with my girl for as long as I needed and explained the process of getting her footprint and noseprint, as well as doing the ceramic tile. I am grateful for such kind people to take care of my baby during such a hard time.
