I lost my best boy on 4/20, and while we didn't know exactly how he was going to leave, I wanted to be prepared for cremation after. My father contacted Howell's because he knew of this service, and they advised they were available 24hrs to meet at the facility for intake. He ended up passing the next morning, a Saturday, and the nicest woman met us there and handled the financial side in the kindest way possible. No worries about having to specify a solo cremation like other places, they only take care of your pet, so you know you are getting your pet's ashes. My sweet Gibbs was ready the following Monday. The service was professional, they provided comforting documents, and a photo of his paw. They even offer pet obituaries on their site. I will exclusively use them for all of my pets.
I never could bare the thought of losing my dog, but always knew it was inevitable. We had 11 great years together and even still, losing her was devastating. The staff at Animal Care Crematory at Howell Funeral Home was great. Wish (my dog) passed in the middle of the night. I called their after hours number and got all the info I needed for the next day. When I brought Wish in, everybody was kind, respectful, and professional. They took the time to go over the process, options, and pricing with me. As hard as it was to lose my best friend, it was comforting to know she was in such good hands. Thank you Heather and Brian for taking care of my baby girl. This was my first experience taking a pet to a crematory and burial. The Howell's were very professional and provided great quality. There were very friendly and treated my dog Capone with the same care as they would a human. I'm very thankful for their services definitely on a Sunday and making the process a little more bearable. They were helpful and wanted to help anyway they could. Thank you, for your kindness and condolences though my difficult time.
