Rodney made what was a difficult time for us, with the loss of Buddy, as comfortable as possible but also by going above and beyond. He was super communicative with me as my BFF of 15 years was in the end-of-life stage. He assured me I could reach him 24/7 and because I had not been through this before, I was full of questions he did not hesitate to answer. He was full of empathy and could absolutely relate given the loss of his beloved dog. For the questions I didn't even think to ask, he offered me such helpful advice. It was comforting to know he offered the option to pick him up and had so many options to choose from on how we would like to proceed with cremation upon his passing. When we visited his location, we were met with such a friendly, kind face and a comforting ambiance. Rodney had so many lovely options to choose from for urns and packages that included beautiful sentiments of Buddy we could take with us upon receiving his ashes. We were able to say a final goodbye to him there and were given privacy to grieve this moment. The process flowed so smoothly given the circumstances from start to finish. When we picked up his ashes today, we were again met with such compassion and everything presented to us of Buddy was exactly, if not better, than expected. Additionally, it was comforting to see they added a picture of Buddy to the rainbow wall for animals who have passed. This meant so much to my children who accompanied me. Rodney has really allowed our family to get through this tough experience. I did not know him personally and found him after doing research online. I know there are many to choose from in this area but I hope my review of our experience is able to help someone decide with more ease on a provider of this service that I felt was very trustworthy and empathetic through the entire process. *the package we chose did not include the painted rock -- my daughter did that.

I brought my boxer here for cremation services, and Rodney did a truly exceptional job. He consistently kept me informed throughout the process and provided thoughtful referrals for additional services I might need. He even shared that they will be adding an in-house therapy dog to help families transition through the grieving process, which speaks volumes about their compassion. I had my dog for nine years, and making the decision to let him go was incredibly difficult. Rest Assured Cremation made me feel completely comfortable leaving him in their care. With the standard services, I received his ashes, a hair clipping, and paw prints, which meant more to me than I can express. I truly appreciate supporting small businesses, and if I ever have to make this decision again, I know exactly who I will trust with my pet’s final needs.

I called Rodney during one of my most vulnerable moments with my fur-baby Luna passing, 12/26/25, and he responded so quickly with such empathy, thoughtfulness and professionalism. I’m so grateful to have left my fur- baby in such loving care. Thanks Rodney!

Rodney did a really amazing job and you can definitely rely on him. We had just left Charlotte to go on our X-mas holiday in England with our family when we received the very sad news that our sweet dog/life companion had passed away at our Petsitter’s home in Charlotte. Our petsitter called Rodney and he came to her home as soon as he could. Rodney was very punctual, cordial, friendly and above all very empathetic.
