Paws, Whiskers & Wags, Your Pet Crematory

Absolutely incredible service. I lost my guinea pig Yoshi on the 19th of September, we went in the next day to have him cremated. I bought Yoshi years earlier when my dad was diagnosed with a terminal illness. I was having a hard time being in college - I was alone having to deal with losing my father. I had Yoshi through years of treatment and through the years after my father's passing. Losing him was absolutely devastating, not only for the loss of my pet and best friend but for the loss of a vital emotional support animal as well. The man working the front was present for every step of the process but still gave me and my family space to have discussions and make decisions. When it was time for the my last goodbye, he set a proper and respectful final viewing. I even received each color of my guinea pig's fur (he was black, brown, and white) in his likeness. Overall, I cannot recommend this business enough. When I left the building I had a legitimate sense of relief knowing my baby will be eternally safe in a beautiful urn. Because of this business and its employee I was able to return to school with my Yoshi and several items commemorating his life. It was a blessing this service is available in such high quality. I will be coming here for any future pet loss, wouldn't recommend anything above this. (I forgot the man's name I am so sorry sir - but shoutout to you fr)

I wish, I could give this pet crematory 10 stars. Everyone is so kind and supportive. They handled the arrangements for my Sparky, five years ago and recently my Piper. I was a complete mess, the first time. So the second passing , I did pre-arrangments. These wonderful people travel all over NC and SC picking up your pets and delivering them back to your vet's office. They even offer pet loss virtual support groups which I found very beneficial.

The staff are incredibly kind and comforting in a time of distress. I had not heard of cremating a pet before this, but I am so glad i chose this option! My sweet cat, Corvair, was hit and killed by a car unexpectedly. The private cremation was the best experience for the most horrible day. I would absolutely use them again and recommend to anyone that is experiencing the loss of a beloved pet.

My 2nd experience here, and I'm very pleased. Losing you baby is difficult enough, the tears, the sorrow, wondering if you could have done something differently, all of those feelings at the same time. The team at Paws, Whiskers & Wags, is very patient, very compassionate, and very professional. No pressure, no rush, take as much time as you need. They will quietly stand back and let you say your words to your baby, and when you are ready, they will guide you thru their service, gently explaining all of the different options they offer. We never feel good about leaving our fur babies with someone else because we, like you, feel that we always care more for them than anyone else. I feel assured that our baby was treated with care, respect, and dignity while he was receiving his final services.

I don’t typically write reviews but I was moved to write this. My best friend, beloved family member passed while we were on vacation in Charlotte. Her death was not expected. I was a mental and emotional wreck. She had been with us for 15 yrs. My daughter was able to find Paws Whiskers and Wags. They were discreet, respectful, caring and gentle!! We were headed home the next day….we left on vacation with Reyna and we were going back home with her. They prepared her in a very timely manner and presented her with grace and dignity. Paws Whiskers and Wags are an amazing company. This is their job but they have the love of the pets and families in their heart! Thank you and God bless you!
