We lost our dog On a holiday and the company was very responsive when we called. They were open on a Sunday to take our baby And were very Compassionate.The person helping us was so nice and went above and beyond to help us. Their prices are the most reasonable in our area. The product is very good. They even checked on us a few weeks after we received his ashes. I’m sure we will unfortunately have to go through this again, but l Will definitely call Hartsell Pet service again. I highly recommend this business. I just can’t say enough good things about them. They really do care and they have really good prices.

Nice people, but this is NOT a dedicated pet cremation business. Hartsell is a human funeral home that does pet cremations on the side and that was very obvious. There are no signs as to where to go, so that was confusing. The woman who assisted us was polite enough but not compassionate in the least. We took our beloved kitty there for cremation and she did not say "sorry for your loss" a single time. The whole transaction was very business like. Last time a pet passed we used a service in South End and they couldn't have been more empathetic and kind. We felt nothing but love and compassion from them as they walked us through the steps. Hartsell didn't explain anything to us, so I certainly wouldn't recommend them for someone going through this the first time. When I went to pick up the ashes, a family was having their viewing/service for a loved one. It felt very awkward and like I was intruding, but they don't have any separate space set up for the pet care. I had to walk among a grieving family to collect my kitty. Not a great set up. If you just want value, Hartsell is fine. If you want someone actually designed for pets and your love for them, find a dedicated pet crematorium.

Haetsell is absolutely the best place to go when that time comes that we have to say good buy to our loved furrbabies. It is never easy to loose our furrbabies when they are a part of our families, but Jenny Harwood mad this sad time much easier she was absolutely wonderful and compassionate. She talked us through the whole process reassuring us our dog would be by himself and we would not get another dogs ashes as well. Jenny brought out a cart with blanket and cushion to put our furbaby on wich was ver comforting. She then gave us time to say our good bye. We were even able to get three paw prints and poem for my husband and I and both our children at no extra cost. They were the most reasonable prices in the area we are so glad we chose them. I would definitely recommend Hartsell Crematorium for your pet when that unfortunate time comes and you need to say good bye to your furbaby. And Jenny will make this unfortunate time just a little bit easier she truly makes all the difference. Mary Beth King
