After my father had passed, it was obviously a very emotional and trying time for the entire family. With so much on your mind and not really knowing the next steps, Lester H. Wedekindt was a blessing to have. The professionalism, patience, and overall thoroughness of this funeral home is outstanding. We had specifically worked with Tammy, who has helped me out tremendously even after the memorial for my father was completed, but everyone on the staff is willing and available to help with any questions and concerns. Since the very first call I made to Tammy, she clearly and concisely guided me step by step with setting up the memorial at the church, the celebration of life and luncheon, the flowers, urn selection, governmental necessities, and every other detail in between. Whenever I had a question, she answered me patiently and clearly on what was to be done. The day of the memorial, when everything seems the busiest, Lester H. Wedekindt had people on call to help assist our guests with a professionalism and efficiency that made the day go extremely smoothly. I highly recommend Lester H. Wedekindt Funeral Home and I want to personally thank the staff for their amazing work during this most difficult time.

Lester was so accommodating for my grandpa's funeral. He was kind and respectful towards my grandma and other family members and really went out of his way to host a beautiful memorial. He communicated with my grandma through the whole process and went above and beyond to make sure he received all of the credits he was owed through the VA, things that our family never would've thought of through this hard time. Would totally recommend Lester to anyone needing a funeral home for a loved one.
