We recently visited our Shana today. She was buried in 1994. Upon entering the property it seemed to be in degraded condition. It’s been 10-20 years since we last visited and have been out of state only to find out that there is new management. I have some recommendations. Please clean up around the grave markers. Our Shana was completely buried in mud and grass. Repave the entrance and more directions are needed. I wish the new owners well. More and more people nowadays treat their fur babies as family. Thank you for assisting us in the location of our deceased furry baby.
We brought our Beautiful lil Skittles for Cremation...Staff was professional, the building was nice inside. We have brought a couple of our pets here...Thanks for the way you made us feel better during a sad time
I'm sad to say the Pine Rest Pet Cemetary is not what it used to be. Our last trip there was a few years ago. Under new management now, it is still a beautiful final resting place for your beloved friend furry or otherwise. The biggest thing that is missing is one small but extremely important detail so meaningful to anyone who brings their companion, their family member there. I am sure there are many who have done just that & appreciated the owner's sentiment in doing it to provide comfort in our time of sorrow. The former owners would send the grieving family, after about a week, a beautiful certificate stating the companions' name, date of passing, & that their remains were now part of the scatter garden enjoying their newfound freedom with the other much loved friends that are there. It was followed by a beautiful illustrated passing over the rainbow bridge essay that touched hearts & brought tears. A lovely keepsake to treasure along with the memories of our lost loved one. That one small thing, a touching detail, that costs practically nothing & had such impact on the consumer of the service will be & is sorely missed. All we have to "remember" this day is a cold receipt & the overwhelming sadness of the loss. You might consider reinstating that certificate. I'm sure it's a big reason why your business received referrals. I know we have referred many to you over the years specifically for the outstanding service, that certificate being the thing that eased the tremendous pain of a very difficult time. For the cost that we pay for your services, one piece of paper, a bit of ink, an envelope & a stamp is a very small expense for something so touching & meaningful to those who have lost something so dear to them. Just think about it. Details. Success, kindness, & goodwill are all in the details. Today, we lost our beloved Junior. He was ours for 10 1/2 years. Companion, best friend & sibling of those we had who came before him & left during his life, Boomer, Rosie & Daisy, the three Jack Russell's, a family, Dad, Mom & Daughter, & Squirt, therapy cat & first of the "Black Lives Matter" gang. My husband got her in 2017 after sustaining a TBI. And to those who came to us after, Izzy, Eb, and Taz. Junior was the gentle giant, combination German Shepherd & Husky & his 3 feline friends. They will miss him greatly. All were his friends from tiny little balls of fur. So gentle was he with them. Izzy, the grey tiger, she will miss snuggling with him, Eb 2nd of our "BLM" Gang, who has a penchant for dog food, she will miss sharing his dog food while Junior sat next to her peacefully watching & waiting & Taz the 3rd member of the "Black Lives Matter " Gang, the baby, who Junior was always headbutting in the butt lifting her off the ground as she walked by. She is the only feline here that is a talker, very long conversations; Little Miss Grumbles. She will miss squawcking at him. She will also miss drinking fresh water first from Junior's water bowl even though hers was always full & fresh. He would sit patiently by the side, waiting for her to have the first drink. She always squawked to let us know when Juniors water needed to be refreshed; when she wanted a drink of fresh water from Junior's big turquoise bowl. He will be truly missed by all in this house, human and feline. The house is too empty & quiet without the clicking of his walk on the hardwood floors, his bark & low growl when he heard a car or human outside the front door. Izzy learned that same low growl from Junior when hearing noise outside the front door. We have never heard a cat growl like a dog before. We went to bed last night with the last thought of the day being that we need to let Junior out to go before letting him back in so he could sleep on his rug beside the bed in front of the cozy space heater on low to take any chill off the floor. Junior was much loved & will be greatly missed forever. Rest in peace, Junior. We all loved you so much! ♥️ 💕 ♥️
I recently had a concern over the burial stone and the Pine Rest Pet Cemetery went out of their way to correct my concerns going above and beyond to resolve them. Providing me great ease! I would strongly recommend them for any of their services needed!
Dealing with Pine Rest was a sense of love, care, and peace during one of the hardest times of my life. My poor Remmi had to be put down suddenly. Through the devastating time, the only place I have ever used was Pine Rest in the past. I didn't know they changed owners since my last dealings with them. They answered the phone the 1st time I called, and any subsequent call was met with the same response, just like in the past. I was "shocked" at the price, but look around, show me a price that isn't shocking compared to a few years ago....(don't worry, I'll wait). The lady on the phone (Emily) was truly compassionate and caring. It felt like I was bringing my family member to a family member. The tenderness, the care, the respect they showed my Remmi from the moment I arrived until the moment I picked her up was beyond a level words can describe. She was ready to come home in just 36 hours. Thank you!
