The Garrett Family handled my Grandmother’s funeral this past weekend. The staff is extremely thoughtful, patient and thorough. Jay Todd took great time to make sure that all the details were taken care of and my family didn’t have to worry about anything at all. I am forever grateful to this establishment. My family had two tragic deaths within 5 months and we are so grateful for The Garrett Family Mortuary for guiding us through both services. They do their absolute best to provide a service that truly honors your loved one. Jay is one of the most compassionate and considerate people I’ve ever encountered. My brother was unjustly killed by the police while suffering a mental crisis in late 2023. Preparing a service for him while being forced into a need for prayer vigils, rallies and calls for accountability was extremely difficult. Jay held our hand from the moment our family contacted him and long after the service ended. Our Matriarch and my Mema passed away nearly 5 months to the day we lost my brother after celebrating her 93rd birthday. Again Jay and the entire staff offered us compassion and support. They understand the loss of a love one is the hardest time of our lives. Garrett Family Mortuary is committed to making that final farewell we say to our love ones as easy on the entire family as possible. Both services were absolutely beautiful.
