It is very hard to get through to someone. I was one time able to talk to a lady and I had told her I will give you a call back. After that, I had called several times it eitherr goes on answering service who takes a message and I don’t get a call back. How does one make arrangements with this kind of Company? I wonder if it is so hard to talk to somebody what they will do once a person dies, they probably will not even care that just my personal opinion after experiencing on the way they conduct business.
We worked with Ken, and could not have been treated better. He was so thoughtful, tactful, sensitive, and easy to talk to. He was a gret problem solver and teammate to make everything run smoothly. He was very realistic and we knew what to expect, but then he had his can do attitude and made some of our most unusual requests a reality. His ability to read the tone of the people with whom he's interacting is incredible; he picked up on our vibe right away and made us feel right at home. I couldn't help but think how much my dad would've appreciated him and his interactions with us. Having such a great person help you in such a tough thing makes a world of difference. Thank you Ken and Mountainview Morturary for helping us say goodbye to our dad.
I had stopped by there and the person that answered the door told me if it was the weekend that I needed to make an appointment. I called a couple days later and they were willing to go over the paperwork over the phone. I told her I wanted to do it in person. This person on the other end of the phone told me that if it was on a weekend I'd have to make appointments but during the week all I had to do was stop in. I stopped in on Wednesday at 3:00. (They close at 4:00.) Nobody would come to the door. I called Thursday and they transfer me to Steve the assistant manager. He told me that the only person that could go over my paperwork with me was the manager and that I needed to make an appointment for Monday because he was out on vacation. I tried to let him know that I had called a couple days ago and they told me all I had to do was just come in. He told me he wasn't on the phone and he could not confirm my conversation. While I was trying to explain to him he kept talking over the top of me. He wouldn't listen. Very rude and condescending. Poor customer service in the industry that needs compassion and understanding.
Steve did a wonderful job two years ago with my mom and just last month with my stepdad. Covered all of the bases, good advice and recommendations, tasteful presentation at the viewings, clean and respectful rooms, quick responses to questions and requested adjustments. Professional. Highly recommended.
Ken was an absolute blessing during an incredibly hard time for my family. He was compassionate, patient and went out of his way to do anything and everything for us. From staying late in order to pick up our urns to never pressuring us on time during our viewing, even long after our scheduled time was up. This review is for him, he was the perfect person to usher us through this incredibly difficult time. He is truly doing gods work and I couldn’t recommend this place more.
