Aspen Animal Wellness

After moving to Reno, I was looking for a good vet and found Aspen Animal Wellness through Google. I’ve had a great experience with them so far. My cat, Jinxy, has a condition where she pulls out her own fur, and the vet took the time to explain everything clearly. They suggested trying one medication first and doing some lab work before moving on to stronger treatments. Everyone there was very helpful, knowledgeable, and never pushy. They were also quick, and their prices are affordable. Overall, a really good experience — I definitely recommend them!

We’ve had great experiences at Aspen Animal Wellness. One of our dogs developed an auto immune disease in 2023 and Aspen was so amazing helping us get her stable following her diagnosis. They always find a way to squeeze us into their schedule, and we feel that we always receive top-notch care!

The staff at Aspen always take the best care of our three dogs. Personal care is provided by the veterinarians. Our dogs are cared for by Dr. Jody Hicks. She knows what is important to us and our dogs. Everyone at the hospital treat is like we are part of their family.

I've had the same vet dr Jody hicks for almost 15 yrs now. We lost our 10 yr old dog in Jan then 4 days later my 15 yr old Persian cat. They showed so much compassion and empathy. The staff at Aspen Animal Wellness are always so kind curtious and knowledgeable. They all take such good care of both our dogs and cats. I highly recommend them for all your veterinarian needs.

This was my first visit to Aspen, and I am a customer for life! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. My cat had not been to the vet for 4 years, and they took such great care of her! Dr Hewitt is wonderful.
