Colleen what a STAR! You deserve a raise. You’re compassionate, understanding and helpful.. Especially with as hard as it is to deal with a mortuary already. you’ve turned a horrible experience at the west end location with Angela into a positive one, and I thank you for that! Maybe the west end can get some training or pointers from you on how to properly handle customer service. Bravo!

On behalf of my wife and I, we would like to share that our experience with Smith Downtown Funeral Chapel has been a great experience in a sad time. From the gentleman who picked up Dad after he passed (who also remembered picking up my step-mom years before). The respect given, the professionalism and also kindness. Kassity was absolutly wonderful in dealing with the paperwork, processing of death certificates, and later in getting their folders for celebration of life just right and making them better than we could have hoped. (unique situation where we celebrated both my dad and step-mom at the same time) Thank you, to your whole staff for making it easy in a difficult time and always being kind yet professional.

Funerals are never easy, but Smiths made it easy. No pressure, no sales job. Their mission was to make it as easy and enjoyable as possible. They consolidate the payment of outside folks all into 1 total, organized a community and graveside service in a community 4 hours away from the funeral, provided a beautiful memory book, brochure and recommended someone to produce a video tribute for the service. I highly recommend this funeral home and will use them again (although I hope not very soon!)

Our family chose this location for both our parents. Shane came and picked up my mother when she passed away. He was so kind and caring. I believe he even did her makeup for the open casket. She looked so beautiful!!!! He was great to deal with. When our father passed. I was less involved with the funeral home. I know Shane is still there and he is a compassionate human being and I would be honored to have him do any funeral for anyone.

Jered was extremely helpful answering all of my many questions. He took the time to look up some things for me and explained everything in great detail. Thanks again!
