So on Monday I found out my dog had congestive heart failure and then on Tuesday I took her back and turns out there’s more… liver cancer.. it was a struggle to manage this new reality but the vet team I had was phenomenal with her care… so days go on and unfortunately the worst thing a pet owner can imagine happened… my girl had passed away in her sleep (thankfully). So Friday morning (5 am -630am) I call a few places and I was told to check out google for pet crematories and “after care” as the organization called it. So at 630 AM I did a google search while crying my eyes out and I found Sunset creek…. I give them a call and Courtney answers. Now, Let me tell you about Sunset Creek Pet Cremations. To summarize them in one word: Wow! The care, love, dedication and respect that they have, it is simply amazing. Courtney was kind, considerate and so loving to Bentley (my deceased girl), Marley (her 4 year old “sister” corgi) and I, both Friday (day of Bentley passing) and Saturday (pick up day). Along with the care…. Look at these gorgeous memorials they provide… from the kind, gentile, respectful in home pick up… to the urn (paw print box), clippings from Bentleys hair, a paw AND nose print!! The option for a memorial post for my beautiful pup, a hand written card card, and a certificate of cremation… I had no idea this was the level of love I would receive from a complete stranger… now lemme tell you…. that card made me cry it was hand written (beautifully may I add) and because there was an addition that I wasn’t expecting… her daughter made me a gift as well ❤️🥺…… HOW FREAKING SWEET!!!! If anyone in kansas needs a cremation service for their animal, you will not at all regret calling Courtney!! I swear to you, you and your family members (becase let’s be honest, pets are family… fight me) will be treated with dignity and respect. This experience made this all a lot easier to handle. Thank you again Courtney! You are truly a gift to human and animal kind! I will recommend them until I can’t any longer!

Courtney provided the most professional service. She was so gracious, thoughtful and caring with my four legged baby! She also showed love & support to me during my difficult time. I will use her again when the need arises.

Courtney was so amazing with us and our sweet Scotty. She was kind, patient, and reassuring. It made an extremely difficult time, just a little bit easier for us. Our dog passed away and we decided to have him cremated. It was Sunday so I didn’t think any place would be open, but Sunset Creek was and when I called Courtney was such a calm, understanding and caring person. When we left there we knew our Jax was in loving hands and would be taken care of respectfully. When we received our items we ordered to commemorate our Jax, there was a precious bracelet included with Jax’s name on it that her young daughter had made for us. That was so thoughtful!
