Shepard Funeral Chapel

The staff at Shepard were very professional and caring as they helped us plan our loved one's funeral. They coordinated with the church and the cemetery, ensuring our cousin's services went smoothly. They also were concerned for our emotional well being, offering support and resources to help us cope with the loss of a family member.

Mitchell was so kind and compassionate in our time of sadness. He helped us with every step of the process. My father had preplanned his funeral, choosing his casket, etc. but there was still much to talk through. It is a small place which meant we were the only family there during the wake. it was very comfortable. Being able to see the slideshow of pictures on the wall above the casket reminded us of so many happy times with my father. Shepard made our coming together to say goodbye to my father a time that was as easy as it could be in the circumstance.

The staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to find out exactly what the lab had used my husband’s body for. That program is wonderful! It allows the death to contribute to saving lives even when there aren’t any transplantable organs. I’m very happy with the service I received and will recommend Shepherd to everyone.

My grandma Martha passed and we hadn’t done pre-planning, but the staff was so helpful and supportive in helping my dad get everything organized. They were great at helping him figure out all the details. The way they set up the keepsakes, photos and did the slide show was great. My grandma’s hair and makeup honored her so beautifully. The stylist went above and beyond. The staff was very attentive and the place is immaculately clean and welcoming. I’d recommend it to anyone who asked

My dad knew that he wanted his arrangements handled at Shepard funeral home. They did great with everything. They even found a preacher that has a lot in common with my dad. It was all handled with great professionalism and care.
