A few years ago I stumbled across the realization that I could be naturally buried or something I've never heard of before, aqua cremation. As someone who was never interested in the fanfare of caskets, embalming and eternal internment, this was a welcome alternative to what I was told "had" to be done at death. Fast forward a couple years and it is now time to have this discussion with my grandparents. My mother was very open to natural burials or aqua cremation so she researched and found Jon Hughes, who was so helpful and knowledgeable. It is refreshing to know that in death those who want to just go back to the Earth as naturally and non-invasive as possible, can do so! For my grandmother we went with aqua cremation. It takes much less energy and resources than cremation by fire. Thank you Jon for adding these alternatives to what you offer. Much respect and God bless!
