Heartland Pet Aquamation

I absolutely love Heartland Pet Aquamation. Jarrod, the owner, has always gone above and beyond to meet me at random times. I'm very appreciative of all he does. I've used him for 4 pets so far and happy every time. I will take every pet to him when the time comes. He is compassionate and understanding. He will give you time to say good bye to your lost loved one. It's never easy and I've never felt rushed. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for after death pet care. Plus aquamation is water instead of fire. He does offer keepsakes. I've just always gotten the paw print that has a place for a picture to be added. The standard cedar box the cremains come in is also very pretty. Highly recommend for when the time comes. If you are reading this, you are probably going through a tough time and having to make hard decisions. I empathize with you in knowing how heart breaking it truly is.

Just a few things about this process. I think we can all agree this really did not go as we were led to believe by you and your company. The so-called tracking you have is not at all what you advertise it to be. Honesty it is worse than the post office tracking on what is going on. The updates are an absolute joke. The way your app and you conduct business in this difficult time are unprofessional and make a hard stressful situation even worse. We have been through this process several times with our past pets that have passed on, and this process was never this difficult and such a mess. Working with you for final arrangements for our pet has been the worst experience we have ever had when going through this. Your lack of knowledge and care is an absolute joke the way you conduct yourself towards customers in their time of need. I regret using you for Daisy final arrangements every day and wish we would have chosen another option for this. There was very little communication and what little there was nothing was clear and cut. Even in emails and on the phone with you there was a lot of ums and should being used on anything that was asked. Even after getting Daisy back, we were very disappointed in the "urn" that you use. I have never seen anything like that. With all of the pets that we have gotten back over the years this is the very first one I have seen that the top does not open and that I have to use a screwdriver and slide out the bottom to get to the ashes. Also, all the other pets we have gotten back did come in a plastic bag but then they were placed in a nice felt bag for their final resting inside the urn. This just shows the lack of care for our pet in your hand right here and how you treat them. Needless to say, we will be looking for a new urn and felt bag for her to be laid to rest in. Just being tossed in a plastic bag in a wooden box is no way to lay a family member to rest. Again, I absolutely regret using your serves for Daisy final arrangements and will never use you again. I have voiced all of this to Hidden Valley, and they said they had reached out to you about our concerns, and I know I had voiced my concerns about all of this to you. What gets me most was after all of these conversations about the miscommunications with you and Hidden Valley and you of how we were not happy you did not even once reach out to see if you could clear things up at all or even apologize about anything. You had plenty of opportunities to try and clear this up and make things right on your end, but you chose not to. The only thing I got when we talked on the phone from you was excuses on how you cannot control the app. This really showed me what type of person you really are and how unprofessional you really are and how much you truly do not care about your customers or the final arrangements of their pets.

Jared at Heartland is an absolute professional. Compassionate and understanding. I gave him a difficult situation and an unpleasant removal task. He was prompt and efficient. Prices are very reasonable and I’d recommend their services to anyone in need. Wish I could give a sixth star. If you have a deceased pet, know they will be in great and respectful hands at Heartland.

This place has great service, great pricing , and they keep your pet’s ashes until you are able to get them back! This is a great option if you’re looking for something simple and price efficient for your loved fur baby

Pet owners BEWARE. Please, do not engage this business or step foot into here even for a consultation. My family took their pet that passed this last weekend and we couldn’t go through with it after seeing what’s going on in here— to spare morbid detail, there is no waiting room/office separate from the crematorium processing area. Animal remains (ash, bones on baking trays) and carcasses are visible and out in the open. It is filthy, dog and cat blankets/beds everywhere, worse than you can imagine. Other 1 star reviews reflect our experience. I am so sad to have to write this but must warn others. You and your pet deserve better, please please please consider choosing another business for this sacred service or do not be afraid to walk out if you get a bad gut feeling.
