Affordable St. Louis funeral home serving the Greater St. Louis area with cremations starting at $795 and funeral services at $2,695.
I highly recommend Bi-State Cremation & Funeral Service. They made arranging my brother's service go so smoothly. There was no cost for a consultation unlike some companies don't want to discuss pricing if they don't have ownership of your loved ones remains. The prices can't be beat and they know how to conduct business. Bi-State is very caring when it comes to understanding and giving you exactly what you ask for. The preparation of my brother was very good and he looked like himself. That was a huge concern of mine and they definitely didn't disappoint. The staff is extremely nice and respectful I would wholeheartedly recommend and entrust Bi-State Cremation & Funeral Service.
My husband past away the day after I buried my son. So funds were slim. Larry and Ashley were absolutely wonderful. My husband is a Navy Veteren, the Patriot Gaurd escorted us to Jefferson Barricks, The service was at Daystar Church. Ashley and Larry thought of every detail it was worth alot more than what they charge. Very professional and respectful. Thank you guys for my husband's funeral.
From the very first call to Larry at Bi-State I felt like I was working with the right people to manage my father's services. He was positive and bright and we really quick to respond. He gave me the options available that would be the most cost effective, but still have a beautiful and seamless result. He did NOT try to upsell me and his prices are beyond reasonable. We didn't have a funeral for my mom so we didn't realize how expensive these services can be. Because my dad was immobile and wheelchair bound we had not suit or nice clothes that fit him anymore, and Larry helped me figure out what size to get Dad and what was needed. He even pointed me in the direction of a store that would provide good options without a high price. Dad was a veteran so Larry organized the burial at Jefferson Barracks and we didn't have to do a thing. I have to admit that when I first arrived at his office I was a little nervous because it's not a traditional funeral home, but everything as perfect! And they made my father look just like himself for the visitation! I mean, he looked like he was sleeping. I was so nervous about that and the clothes fitting and Larry was calm and confident that all would be okay. Larry's team is lean, and small but mighty, so don't be worried when you don't get a big building with a salesfloor of caskets. The things you need are basic. We had a black metal casket a white flower spray and the flag, which Larry managed. I can't say enough about the service we received AND the price! I don't think you should skimp on your loved ones, but both of my parents were adamant about not spending a lot on them. One last thing. My mom was cremated 2 1/2 years ago and Larry was great about us displaying her urn and then burying he with Dad. He also helped with Jefferson Barracks so Mom will be on the head stone. Can't say enough positive things about Larry and Bi-State!
Larry and his staff were very professional! They did a wonderful job with my mom and brother's service. Everything went as planned, and they were very understanding. It's hard planning a loved one's funeral and they helped us get through it not once, but twice. They are awesome!! They went above and beyond for my family, and I am forever grateful for the services they provided my family.
This was my first experience contacting (and planning) a funeral home for a family member. Sadly it was my mother who had fallen ill in July of this year. I met with Larry Bydon to discuss plans/pricing, etc upon coming in from out of state. His inclusion of items for funeral services are fairly priced. He was very honest and receptive to what I needed. On the night my mother passed, I contacted Larry who immediately went to the nursing home facility to take her to her "pre-resting" place before services could be planned. Upon returning last month for the service; I will say everything went extremely well, and there were lots of compliments from those who attended. Larry graciously and repeatedly thanked me and my family for our kindness. As with any business, I can only surmise some don't leave satisfied. No problems here....
